Cameron Smith is a phenomenal player for all his faults. Heat of the moment it's easy to have a brain snap and do some fairly grubby things especially for a competitor who is that tough.

He is a bit of a thug thou, he always seems to get his hands/arms tangled with the ball carrier, when he makes a tackle. He does it with great success, as he always gets away with it, and slows the play the ball right down.

Thats the way in which he hyper extended his elbow last year in the test match.

I dont like him all that much, but f**k me he is a good player. Best in the game, and it's probably been more him and Petro (and previously Price) than Lockyer that has seen them so dominant for six year. Along with NSW's insistance on picking Ennis (although Farah is playing half fit this year).

Not sure I saw enough of Walters to judge, but Smith will go down as the best hooker we've seen of the modern era (Elias onwards) and arguably the best of all time.
