Billy Slater - 8
Darius Boyd - 3
Greg Inglis - 7
Justin Hodges - 2
Jharal Yow Yeh - 4
Darren Lockyer - 6
Johnathan Thurston - 6
Mat Scott - 7
Cam Smith - 7
Petero Civoniceiva - 8
Nate Myles - 7
Sam Thaiday - 7
Ash Harrison - 5

Cooper Cronk - 4
Corey Parker - 6
Jacob Lillyman - 4
Ben Hannant - 5

Scores are always subject to change and my scale is a little lower. I generally start at 3 and work my way up. I think 9's should be reserved for performances like Darren Lockyer Game 1 2001.

Must say, Parker made me eat my words this series. Thought after Game 2 my thoughts were correct but he played very well off the bench I thought make a couple of good runs that gave us plenty of momentum.

It was between Slater and Petero for MotM honours for me. No real complaints with the decision to reward Smith though as he had another good game and was the best Maroon over the three games.

Make your own ratings critics.

This was just from the first view, I'm definitely due for a review.

Yow Yeh did his job, but nothing more. I could see a 5.

I could probably see a 5 for Cronk too, but aside from setting up Inglis, I don't recall too much from Coops.

I need to watch the replay.

I don't like some of your ratings

For starters Lockyer > Thurston

I seriously can't win with Jharal, either I'm a fanboy or a hater.

Aside from the flukey try and chase on Hayne he wasn't that involved for mine. 4 doesn't mean he played badly, just means a +1 for me. But like I said, I could probably live with a 5.

I can't do the whole ratings thing, but I agree that Slater and Civo were the best. Most of our guys in the run on side put in about 7s. A couple in the backline didn't really do anything good - Hodges and Boyd. Bench didn't really offer a lot with the exception of Cronk, what really sums up his value to the team is that Thurston got injured and as good and important a player as he is it did not hurt us at all. Cronk was already on the field ready to move into his position

I would give Man of the match to GI..Had a great game .Two tries & was fantastic in defense.Twice got us another set with a goal line dropout.
& i would give Scott an 8 with Civo..
Seems he let Civo do more hit ups ,but Mal had him marking Gallen & he smashed him everytime he got the ball.
Stopped alot of their go forward.
& special mention to the "worlds best halfback"...10/10 M.Pearce..

I won't do all of the ratings but I'll say a few things.
Thurston was instrumental in momentum and Lockyer was equally with composure.
We could have had another game I scenario however Lockyer changed the tempo and direction of the play and caught NSW out.
Hodges was close to our worst, defence was under par, quite a few errors including a stupid one trying to start a fight.

Yoh Yeh was fantastic, played his heart out.
Inglis shut up a lot of NSWelshmen, I'm always so, so happy when he scores tries simply because it stings NSWelshmen even more than anyone else.
Cam Smith continues to be the best hooker probably of all time.

But my two stand outs, Billy Slater and Petero.
Slater - Words cannot describe how good he is, players go up and down with form but he has consistently been the most dangerous fullback I have ever seen.

Petero - A true champion, I have to laugh at Gallen, he's a great player but he doesn't have half the humility and decency Petero has and never will.
Will definitely miss him next year.

Billy , Cam and Greg I couldnt split.

Cam controlled the game, Billy was everywhere and in limited touches and space GI caused havoc. Couple of big hits by him in defence as well caused NSW to spll the ball when they were in the red-zone.

I agree on Scott and Petro.

I have been pushing for Scott to get a MOM award for basically the last 6 games. He is really turning into an outstanding front rower. If he keeps this rep form up for a couple more years then we would have to start comparing him with some of the great props for Qld

Scott again was a little unlucky last night with regard to MOTM. He dominated the NSW defence and was just an absolute monster. The side physically lifted when he and Petero came back on, and conversely, you could see they were both missed when they took a breather.
