Yep...the amount of you guys that continually bite on BHPs obvious bait is ridiculous.

To be fair not that many really bite, there are just a few heavy repeat offenders and fans of other clubs jump on the bandwagon.

Either way, that chump has wasted some serious storage capacity for LU, it wouldn't surprise me if it was one of our own having a laugh. Takes some serious dedication to be that stupid, that consistently :lol:

Hey Phil im with you brother. The Sydney media outlets namely the daily telegraph, very rarely provide insightful or analytical news items. They often provide biased opinion based fish and chip paper with very little fact. Which sadly the masses read and take on as their own opinion. It's clear that for sometime many of the Dragons players looked at certain sections of the media with disdain, you don't need to look any further then some of Boyd's and Soward's interviews. I could be paranoid but it seems as though at times they do have an agenda, when it comes to the dragons they often light the fire so rival supporters can fan the flames.

Yep, never let them start telling you how to support your team. This rings true for all teams, all players and in every sport. I'll even go as far to say it is life lesson stuff.

Phil, you know where your heart is and what you believe in. The rest have their own issues and feed off your reaction. But I do know that if the reaction gets too much momentum, the tabloids do read it and try to gain some profit from it. So just laugh it off.

i do chuckle at the general theme of the attacks tho..

firstly it was "you guys are chokers and haven't won for 31 years"

then when we win, that changed to "it's only your first premiership!" (yep, nice one, particularly as most of those saying this line were the same ones spouting that we hadn't won.. which one is it - was it 31 years between drinks or 1st title.. it can't be both.._

now it seems to be "last minute loss to canberra - the wheels are falling off the chokers again"



it's done by trollops to gain a rise, as we are the most passionate fans and will defend our team to the death...

and it's done by the media purely for attention, pick on the dragons and see massive spikes in reading the articles, particularly online..

One could argue a case that in the print media at least, we as a group of supporters may be partially responsible. They obviously find controversy and hype about Saints sell more papers than most other teams. Hence, why there is a call here not to link to telecrap articles, we are just encouraging the sensationalist journalism.

I think when we start losing, there is an exaggeration in the papers around the negatives, and sometimes when we are going very well, we tend to get over-hyped. Sensationalist articles about Saints sells papers obviously.

All the above comments are true...well, maybe not the Willow=BHP thing. Although it would be great if it was true. Pray that it be true.

The only thing that I find weird is the depth of hatred some supporters have. I don't hate any team. I don't even dislike any team.

There are elements of the Dogs supporter base I find pretty gross. I don't like the fact that if an opposition player breaks his spine at Brookvale, the crowd cheers. But I don't hate any team and I couldn't care where any team stands on the table outside of St George.
