Deary me... a bit of humility wouldn't go astray Bellamy!

Storm weren't playing by the rules in 2007 and 2009, and simply have to cop that fact!

Get those Premiers tattoos laser-removed, and focus on winning a legit premiership - 1999 was on the back of being given a gifted run through the finals by the refs, and then a dodgy penalty try ruling in the Grand Final.

If they're good enough, they'll win legit this year - if Storm don't win in 2011, then they're just another club that haven't won a comp for 12 seasons, simple as that.

Get over it... They played in the games, got the rings, trained hard those years and celebrated after the GF's!! Whether you agree not not, as bellamy said all the people involved over those years believe they're the premiers and you cannot change what people believe!!

Yeah it's f**king bullshit.

They might have worked hard but they won all those games because they had better players than everyone else. And they had better players because they cheated.

It's the same story this year - they have better players at key positions which allows the rest of the team still do the job.

It's all about the quality of your squad and especially the quality of your spine; this year they had 3 of the top 5 players for Dally M points. So even though they lost a lot of players since last year they were still able to keep the ones that matter. They should have been forced to keep an overpaid Inglis and lose one of their essential spine players. Then see how good they go.

I actually thought Bellamy's answer was reasonable, and I hate those cheats.

He pretty much said that he knows outsiders won't agree and yea the club technically is going for its second premiership, but he and everyone involved will always feel like they won those two extra comps. He has done a good job of keeping the club together and probably wouldn't have everyone's support if he didn't stay strong on this point

Get over it, trophies are only for teams that succeed once in a blue moon . . . Melbourne would be more upset about not finishing in the top four

we would never have had to let go of Matt Gidley, Danny Buderus, Timana Tahu, Ben Kennedy along with plenty of others.

Melbourne CHEATED everyone..........

As is shown by the Daily Tellyoucrap poll, they attract those with the lowest intellects. Almost 45% of respondents to the poll think the Storm deserve to claim the '07 and '09 premierships.

Rocket science here . . . any one-eyed supporter from any team doesn't give a rat's arse about another team.

Any real league supporter knows that what Melbourne players were paid has no affect either way on how the team performs . . . wishful thinking

Melbourne developed all those players, they didn't go out and buy a premiership squad. They can think whatever they want, history shows the club cheated the system, as flawed as the system is, and that is what will be remembered by the majority. What the players and coaches want to remember is up to them.

But yeh leave the scab alone Craig and get on with winning a legitimate 2nd title.
