I drove along railway pde from kogarah to hurtsville and then through hurstville.
Shark park will be paradise compared to that cesspit.
Where were all you concerned know alls when all 14 story residential buildings went up there?

Theres high density residential all through that area. As the name suggests, all are walking distance to a train station, a 20 minute train ride away from the city.

There's no units within about 2km of this proposal. The tallest building within 2 kms is currently the leagues club, which is what... 4 stories?

No parking at Wooloware station which is about a km away. Fair enough to call everyone fat because they don't wanna walk a k to the station every morning and arvo, but the truth is 95% of people wont.

If the proposal was 6 stories I don't think many would object (except capsis and the usuals). But 16 stories (is it 2 towers or just the one?) and another southgate is going to put a lot of the general public off. I don't care, I don't drive past it often and would only really see it when I play golf there on a Saturday, but even I can see as a neutral its going to look out of place.

So every ground the council closes access to in the wet, is in a flood plain is it?

Apart from the issue of height of the development, are you suggesting is it Council, Cr Capsis and your wifes position that this development should not be approved because all three believe it is being built on a "flood Plain"?
