'Embarrassing movies' you've cried during

It's not an embarrassing film because The Lion King was awesome but Mufasa's death was heartbreaking as a child.

I read some bullshit a few months back that a boxing film from the late 70's (Not Rocky) was scientifically the saddest movie ever, anyone watch it?

Dragonball Evolution was the best comedy of 2009 - laughed so hard during it. I don't understand why hardcore fans get so upset after watching it. What did you expect? The movie was always going to be bad.

Not necessarily movies (or tv shows) I've cried in but very emotional scenes.

Land Before Time - Littlefoot's mum dying and his initial denial.
Six Feet Under - The closing montage. This show had the ultimate closure.
Up - Opening Montage and the Scrap Book
Requiem For A Dream - What becomes of Sara Goldfarb. Disturbing really.

Among others.

Oh, I don't know, maybe actually following the story instead of butchering it so bad the only reason it's recognisable as Dragonball is because of the characters, and even they are done all wrong, as pointed out above, a fairly major character is completely missing, and the characters that are there have their backstories completely rewritten, it's a disgrace of a film.

It was obvious from the trailers that they'd butchered it though. With that in mind, why would you bother seeing something that you know is going to suck? Masochism?

I watched it purely because I'm a massive fan of the original anime series, yes I knew it was going to be bad, I just didn't think it would be as bad as it was.

I stopped enjoying the series because I always hated Gohan and couldn't hack him saving the day when he defeated Cell. I hate that Gohan's supposed to be stronger than Goku.

'Home Alone 2' where Kevin's mum finds him at the big Christmas tree and they embrace. As they are hugging, Kevin's mum looks like my mum, and from behind Kevin looks like me when I was that age.

Another time I got stoned with my mates and we put on 'The Lion King' and within 10 minutes I had tears coming out of my eyes, saying "This is such an amazing movie!" I was blown away by how poignant and adult the movie is, even before Mufasa dies you have the whole father-son thing going on and Simba is a starry eyed cub with the world promised to him, he can't wait to be king and life is this gleefully innocent journey to him, completely unaware that his father is going to be murdered and he is going to spend years believing the lie that it was all his fault.

The scene with Simba trying to wake up Mufasa was the saddest part for me.

John Coffey's speech towards the end of The Green Mile and his last meal as well.

The end of Toy Story 3 does it for me.

Yeah. Me too. Well, I wasn't crying. There was a lot of dust in the air and my eyes are very sensitive.

Also, there must have been a lot of dust in the air when I watched Good Will Hunting and the scene where the psychologist is telling Will it wasn't his fault. It was either dust or my crippling depression.

The last twenty minutes of that movie was a pretty big 'holy shit' type moment. Heard it described as the sort of movie you run yourself a warm bath afterwards but didnt think it was too bad then yeah, that last 20 minutes was intense

Yes, must've been at the same dusty cinema

That was the whole point of Z - for Gohan to surpass his father. Not that I blame you, even by the show's standards Gohan was a terribly defined character without any discernible traits of his own other than 'he has potential'.

I was always a bigger fan of the original series than Z.
