lol The ego on this guy

Admit it RBM, you have nothing and are too piss weak to back your bullshit up when you get called out. Pete has exposed you for the fraud you are and you continue to hide behind the laughable notion that what you post here can have even a remote chance of influencing the outcome of a footy match.

And people call Bunniesman deluded

Here's a boomerang:

Why do you care?

That's a f*cking stupid line if ever I heard one.

At least BunniesMan has the balls to elaborate on his points.

RBM is making more excuses than Gallen after an Origin loss.

Let me explain something here:

I have made my position clear.

You can tell me that I have NFI,no balls, that I've got nothing,no spacing after commas.Heck,I'm waiting for the next attempt. This is fun.

Woooo.I'm lower than(who is it? Bunniesman).That's rich.

I'm deeply offended.I've never been so insulted.That's low.(snigger)

Try a little harder guys.Really.C'mon you can do better than that.Look there's no spaces after the punctuation. Can't you get your knickers twisted to a greater degree than Bunniesman?

I'm actually offended that you can't insult me to any real extent.Huh?

I deserve better than this.(sniff)

No more conversation until this is made into a sticky also. You must like taking-up the first page of the forum with stickies. This thread would make good'un too.By the time we get to fifteen of them no-one will be able to read the initial page of the forum.

How about it?

I want more stickies.

Has Bunniesman got his own sticky also?

You have a selector, that is Ricky Stuart. That is his job,not mine.

I'm happy that Gallen,Gidley,Ennis,Pearce and one or two others are running on for NSW.Why would I suggest who should be their replacements?

I'm just saying that, in my opinion,as long as they all participate QLD will continue winning.

It could be that only one or two of them would have to go to make a difference. It would be a big improvement for NSW if they were all gone.Again that is my opinion which many do not share.

There are aspects of Lockyer's game which I didn't like. Not his defense which was always touted as a weakness by many.He used to have an irritating habit of passing a ball to thin air.Passing a ball in an offload to a section of the paddock where there was no-one within coee, while there were plenty of available players who could have received a pass and indeed were standing ready to receive a pass.He was incredibly guilty of it during the years that we were losing.I don't know whether Mal put a rocket up him over it when he came on board, but he only did it a very few times in the 6 years of our success.

There are criticisms I hold of many of the players involved in our 6 years of success. Some seem to have finally overcome their stupid habits. Some of our QLD players scare me.They are such one-sided players that I understand why they have been chosen, but their liabilities have me almost angry at times.Because they are current players,I will not say one word about who they are or what it is that irritates the shit out of me.Those things are Ricky Stuart's job to analyse. Not the place for a QLD supporter to broadcast on public forums.

would've been easier if you just said you wanted to troll

Pete,

I'm happy to talk about Mal's approach in a PM.I only mentioned Mal because of the post which said:

"Don't feed me that dribble about QLD Administration and coaches, a bunch of ex-player pissheads doesn't make a good side."

I wished to illustrate that many of the stellar individuals who have played the key roles in QLD's success of the last 6 years were playing in 2005.The key that wasn't there was Mal at the helm and the fact that we desperately needed to cut-loose some dead wood.Mal cut that dead wood loose and revamped the side.He had the good sense to retain the better players and he also brought in better game plans and tactics for those players.Yet his role is constantly minimised by the NSW hacks.

Ask the players about the difference between 2005,where Lockyer/Thurston/Smith/Slater/Price/Civo and other players who have been a part of our 6years of success were present, yet we couldn't win,and 2006 onward. They will tell you that Mal played the crucial role in getting the turnaround.

I don't know exactly what you are saying about Mal's approach,so I invite a PM.

Some players operate well at club and even international level yet aren't cut out for Origin, because Origin is the toughest arena in Rugby League. No international or club team or game is anything like the challenge of Origin.

Gallen brings his work ethic to Origin.Apparently for many that is sufficient.I have always been of the Opinion that he is one of many who are costing NSW at Origin level. That is what I mean by 'dud'.He has many good qualities, winning Origins or not being a liability at Origin level are not qualities that I see in him. That's my opinion.Others including yourself see it differently.

Gallen would walk into the Qld team, just like he's the first guy picked for NSW & Australia. In what remote universe is he not a terrific Origin player? He's exactly what you want in this format, he bleeds for his state & gives it his all every game. Dribble all you want about Stuart as well, but at least he gives a f*ck and he will be doing everything he can to bring that trophy back to NSW.

Go back to your fantasy world, where Qld are certainties to win 20 straight series and Mal Meninga is actually a genuine 'coach'

FWIW Gallen would be in my world side (at prop) and would probably go close to being captain with only Smith in front of him there.

RBM is doing his best to get some sort of discussion going so even if he annoys you, at least try to keep the abuse to a minimum. RBM I think you're barking up the wrong tree suggesting Gallen is costing them. They are thin in the quality props department and Gallen, a club lock, actually is NSW's best option at prop. Maybe there was a time where he cost them with ill discipline but I think he's cleaned his game up there.

I am not decided on Mal's virtues as a coach. As others have pointed out a brick could probably have coached this group of players to victory. However 6 in a row (and counting) in what was the closest sporting rivalry in the world has to be worth something on a coach's resume.

One other thing I've noticed since Mal and his staff took over. Certain players seem to go to another level for their club after donning the Maroon. Think of good players who turned out to be great after Qld took a punt on them (or were first to select them). Matt Scott, Ash Harrison, Nate Myles, Jharal Yow Yeh, Jacob Lillyman to name a few all seemed to blossom under this Qld regime even if they were first picked before it. Maybe coincidence or maybe there's other factors but again it should be noted.

The captaincy has really made Gallen into a great player but before say 2010 he wasn't always that good. He would make silly mistakes and give away dumb penalties, one time because 'I told you I was gonna get him back'. His Game 3 2008 was awful. So in that universe, he wasn't a terrific origin player. He is now though.

And there a lot of players that do, or would, bleed for their state and give their all every game.

That said, Gallen is obviously one of NSWs best players and should be deserved captain.

Fancy RBM correcting someone on the abbreviation of his name, then going on to call the Roosters "Sydney City" - the City part of which they removed some 12 years ago...

RBM - Gallen isn't an Origin player?

You're also wrong about Mal's approach in 2006.

Look big? pete what RBM is trying to say is that Gallen isnt a shit player or anything its just not that hard to stand out in a team as shit as the last few that Nsw has served up.

If they pick him out of position again they have conceeded defeat. He is NOT a prop. He hasnt the first clue of how to play prop and anyone who argues this has to be geniused yourself included.

CHAMP(?)

How do you explain Origin 2 2011, arguably one of the best prop performances in the history of Origin?

You don't even know how to spell their names properly, I severely doubt you know why they were so highly regarded.

I'm fairly sure your mate Lockyer used to be a handy fullback too-amazingly enough, players have the ability to play different positions. Gal has a massive motor, runs hard all night and the prop experiment has clearly worked. It's worked so well that he's one of the best props going around. His effort in Game 2 last year will go down in Origin folklore

dont think they will shitty. anyway a prop is not supposed to run around like an idiot for 80 minutes and f**k up a teams rotations. they hit it up, hurt defenders ( not gallens specialty) and punish in defence and im not talking about high shots resulting in penalties. Gallen is a backrower, a very good one but not a prop.
