I read that thread and still don't really understand what Forum 7s is about.

It's basically a writing competition. You post your rugby-league related piece along with the rest of your team, everything gets marked and the highest scoring team wins.

There aren't any prizes, just gloating rights. You can browse through the match threads for a better idea.

And yes Izz, there are plenty of tears and tantrums, but that just makes it more interesting.

I'm more into short, punctual rants with as much offense crammed into as few words as possible.
