Can't afford to be the team who is on one week, off the next.

Was a good win, good performance, but lets put it into perspective - no Ellis, no Galloway (their best 2 forwards), no Lote or Utai.

With the front row they had we should be winning the forwards battle.

Friday just prooved how bad they are without Ellis and Galloway. That letting go Gibbs and Fafita was a wrong call, and that Blair isn't worth $550K.

Well played by us, but we need to be better next week - and without Merrin, Latimore and perhaps JDB - we may struggle.

Have they even been officially charged?

No, not yet. I'm assuming they will though. All you heard on the weekend was how high the shots were, and they kept replaying the tackles. I think they will face time out, but lets hope not.

Yes they had players out but we were without Cooper and Scott against the most lethal attacking side in the competition. We had a 19 year old in only his 2nd game of first grade running around out there a very difficult position. Not to mention we were coming off the worst performance in 3 years. The Tigers were off but they played as well as they were allowed to. There were some great signs. The attack was much more direct and straight and we only leaked two tries, of which both were very VERY dubious.

Obviously there will be tougher games but they showed pride in the jumper and that is worth getting excited about!

Replayed by who? Ch9? Of course they would, it was against their pinup side. I found it amusing how much those two tackles were talked about during the game yet Gus didn't even see an issue with Blair's tackle and Farah's tackle(which was by far the worse) was barely even spoken about.

Of the two Latimore's is the one which might come under scrutiny. Merrin could do very little to avoid contact with the head. As I said in another post, it is very difficult to avoid contact with the head when the ball runner is trying to dive to the ground in the tackle.

Personally, I think they both looked deliberate and I liked it. We have been far too disciplined under Bennett and its about time we started throwing a few cheap shots in to unsettle the opposition. :D
