Really I think it's time the Tigers and Sheens parted way. A new coach could do wonders for the team, and Sheens could probably turn around the fortunes of another club. Just been together too long, producing mediocrity.

There is more chance of me winning Lotto tomorrow than Sheens leaving the Tigers.

We could lose 20 straight and he would be under no pressure whatsoever. He is a protected species.

To win football matches you need speed power and grunt and the tigers have none of that. They might get a mini roll on but their a team on the decline. I think they are in the same boat Parra were in a couple of years ago and are heading in the same direction fast. New coach and new faces needed quickly

Tigers are by no way out if it this year. They have the strike power to come back and with farah back in a couple of weeks im sure you will see them turn things around.
Raiders should of won by 50 but the tigers defence near the line was good at times in saving tries.
I reckon they are still a top 8 side and will have titans, parra, penrith, roosters to get easy wins

Don't know if there is a whole lot they can do this season. Their senior players (with the exception of Marshall & Ellis) aren't stepping up and they just have too many rookies in the side.

I'd suggest making changes but with Blair likely facing suspension I'm unsure who can be called upon.

With Blair out I suppose you'd have BMM start in his place with Moors on the bench.

Politini should come onto the bench to cover for Fulton. It's an area that really hurt them tonight and having a natural hooker out there should make things easier and will even give Sheens more options in the pack.

The other bench spot needs to go to a forward from reserve grade whether it's Spence or somebody I don't know but the Tigers need as much help as they can get upfront.

Still don't think it will be enough and it might take a few more seasons for them to have a serious crack.

Apologies to normal Tigers fans but I had to copy this from the Tigers / Sharks game thread.

lol @ Sharks, they were just more shit than the Tigers were today.
Cracking game, hopefully when the conditions aren't so extreme Tigers will be able to play as they should. Sharkies tried their best but it still couldnt match the Tigers worst.

I don't think we played them at their worst Armageddonone - it's still to come.

So is there much of a media beat up about the Tigers today? At least the Eels weren't bloody premiership favorites.

Hybrid hit the nail on the head...you dont go into a game against a team as big as the Raiders with 2 shit wingers on the bench...especially when you have 2 front rowers with a grand total of 30 NRL games between them...Woods can hold his head high but Matt Groat is horrendous...

It's amazing how easy it is to overlook the fact that in every game this season we've had at least $400,000 worth of cap sitting on the sidelines.

Rd 1 - No Tuqiri
Rd 2 - No Tuqiri, No Gallaway
Rd 3 - No Tuqiri, No Gallaway, No Ellis
Rd 4 - No Tuqiri, No Gallaway, No Farah

That's four internationals.

Add Tedesco to that, mix in Marika Koroibete and you have your likely boom rookies gone for the season too. So no spark for the Tigers coming from that angle. Not to mention in the games he did play Farah had a broken nose for two of them. Marshall has copped two head shots early in the match in the past two weeks as well. Then there is just the inexcusable play of one Adam "Best Forward in the World" Blair (another 500k that would actually be better off on the sidelines) and the absurd decisions that supercoach makes week in week out and it should give you pause for writing us off entirely.

I don't think it can be explained just how much of an effect losing Tedesco had on the balance of the squad either. The fact that Reddy or Ryan haven't been given the job show that Sheens was never intending to use anyone other than Tedesco, so one can assume that a lot of attacking plays in the off season revolved around him. Especially considering how much involvement he had in the half hour he played in Rd 1.

Sheens treats the first half of the season like trial matches. Has done ever since he was here. It's same old same old. We'll be there at the end of the season.

Please....every club has injuries.
Saints & Canberra both had just as much talent as you guys sitting on the bench.
Poor excuse.

It's only Round 4, way too early to be writing off any side, including Parra & the Tigers. Anything could happen, if we were at round 14 and they were playing like this that would be cause for concern.

Can understand Tigers fans being frustrated as supporters want their own sides to win every week.

The tigers opportunity to win a title has been the last 3-4 years - DIDN'T DELIVER

Sheens can no longer coach, recruitment and retention has been horrid.
No fullback, no halfback, no forward pack,
rest of the teams superstars are on the decline and from all reports so is the financial situation.

They wont be featuring in any finals run/grand final challenge for some time, this will upset media but we should all be thankful the weekly dose of propaganda being churned out every week about the tigers will no longer poison the minds of the NRL supporter.

Had to check the stats to see if Blair was as bad as I thought.

5 hitups for something like 23 metres.
23 tackles for 4 missed.

Love it how his happy to watch the rookie front rowers get smashed up the middle and hide out wide......

Nothing wrong with a big bloke playing out wide, but there is something wrong when they are getting bashed not putting their hand up to come in and take a hit up.

Guys done it last 3 weeks and is clearly a cat.

Blair is an out and out merkin. Fox busted him doing a chicken wing (on Thompson I think) and I hope he is suspended for six weeks. Every tackle he puts more than the niggle in.

I just don't see the Tigers making a run this year. Ellis is more valuable than Marshall ATM but other teams have improved and the loss of Gibbs, Dwyer and Fifita has torn a massive hole in their forward pack and depth IMO.

Marshall is the most overrated back and Blair the most overrated forward in the comp.

We will have a typical Sheens year.

Go like busteds, make a small run after the Anzac test, lose through Origin, make a surge and be fighting it out for the scraps come Round 26 and fall short.

Looking at the teams fitness and conditioning Skandalis should be fired today. I do not know if he even is qualified to handle the role in terms of training other than being a Sheens sycophant and watching Folkes do a good job over the past two seasons.

Both centres are playing injured. I do not know why he persists when backs is somewhere we actually have depth. Their lack of lateral shift and speed through injury is killing us.

Benji should be dropped so the team can learn to play with actual structure, Blair should be dropped from a great height
