And my comments about you had you running to the keyboard .. Don't have much respect for driftwood.. Sleep well in whatever flag you wrap yourself..

Well ....you're still talking about me even though you guys just suffered yet another loss.

It would have been rude not to reply. ;-)

Must be an internet cafe around the corner from the strip club eh? That's the only feasible explanation I can find for you being online at this hour.

In regards to tactics....

I thought you guys were just unlucky.
We've been shit with the high balls all year. Actually most kicks in general.

Yet tonight we lifted. So, homework was done but unfortunately for you guys it didn't work.

With the ball however you weren't doing a whole lot. I think there's an over reliance on soward when it didn't go how you expected.

Also you are so missing cooper.

He has a compulsion with our club . Sometime in his life the A dragon trod on his ego and the poor biddy can't let it go... maybe it was in his Parra persona and in 1977. Or maybe it's because we stayed proud and did'nt get down and kiss his royal jammy toes when the Broncos beat us. Whatever the reason xxxx you can be sure we don't give a monkeys.;-)

I don't think you can take the Sharks defensive efforts too lightly. The effort put in nullified alot of your options and frustrated your playmakers. We were also very good last night in defusing kicks as mentioned.

Dragons usual spark was lacking admittedly, but frustration seemed to creep in after so many chances in our 20.

frustrating game to watch, we had nothing, looked like we turned up with no game-plan and shades of the nathan brown days of a bunch of sheep. Some of the wide shots on FOX should our guys with no structure at all. Basic errors like drop balls, ffs should be a $500 FINE that PRICEY should hit the player with, it happens all the time. Prior, Ah Man, Weyman, Hunt Guility. But a $1000 FINE for a PLAY THE BALL fumble. Weyman exhibit A. FFS these guys all they do is train to run, catch a ball, and tackle. Final nail in the coffin, was the fulltime stats, we had more possession and they did 50 more tackles, yet we got a duck-egg.............not happy.

The better side won because they took their chances. But although we lacked creativity in attack, we did get over the line two times ( Young dropping the ball when trying to ground it and Flos dissallowed try) ! Can't wait for Cooper to come back. I can see why we bought Beale ! No depth in the centres.

One thing that was evident was saints lack of support play, they seem to be overstructured in attack and not able to play add lib football when they need to.

Sharks defence was the best I have seen in a number of years.
We have always been an attacking centre short, but we have got by. Our halves should have used Morris more and I think we could have used vidot more in attack too.

Drop balls at crucial times are our biggest issue at the moment.

I'll give Cronulla their due they certainley played very well defensively, Saints not scoring any points in 5 halves now this year is a massive concern but when Cooper and Fien come back I think that will add a lot more strike power I won't be pulling out the hair just yet.

As a long, long time fan, I was disappointed last night in the following areas;

* Proclaimations by the team and coaching staff pre season that we would all see a new attacking style of play....where is it or what happened to it?
* Soward why does he rarely if ever take on the line? He has speed to burn, FFS use it.
* Our forwards although working hard, Weyman etc, you can bet there will be at least a few dropped balls early in the tackle count without doubt.
* As in point 1, I accept that Cronulla are abetter team this year, but they would hardly have Melbourne or the Broncos shaking in their boots. The fact that we can't score a point against an average team should be a major concern to all of us.
* I love Benny Hornby, he has been a great servant and won us many games over the years, but he and Soward just don't seem to have it.

In any case I'm still looking fwd to next week, they will proabbly come out and smash Drugcastle and we can forget about the rabble that was last night.

It is not time to slit our wrists just yet. Sure our attack was inept and it showed up glaring deficiencies. But all are eminently fixable by a good coach. Question is, do we have one? Time, and particularly next week will tell.

cronullas defence wasn't great at all. it had nothing but very predictable attack thrown at it.

The sharks were great - got bigger metres than us with the ball and always had the answers in defence. Not having cooper and fein or king is a massive loss for us. Dean Young...slowwwww motion, would love Kyle closer to the action and MERRIN TO START. Hunt is average. Soward and Hornby had one of there "oh - it's one of those nights"...nights.

Gower must come in for Au Mau - great ballplayer. Also think miller and chase stanley would be in the side if it were not for injuries.

We are down a little bit of class but the effort will remain and confident they can bounce back next week with another dummy half and coops in there.

Did I hurt your feelings...oops

No

Wow, I would love to know what else makes you laugh
You probably think getting your dick caught in a blender is funny. I was obviously under the false provision that this is nothing more than a forum hence the complete disregard for formatting. I will be sure to structure my posts more adequately in future so morons can read them too.

But seems i hurt yours.
