Ponting runs, he is still there...Watson is looking better today anyway, Ponting looked like he would get out every ball!

5/248 at a snail's pace following the Windies equally slow 9/449 - not the greatest advertisement for test cricket...

Alternatively he could respond to the call...there was two there if Ponting SPRINTED rather than ambled through the first run!
No there wasnt, commentators were saying run out was on either end. And shut the f**k up.

A comfortable single turned into a lost wicket by a Watson brainfart.

Mate you're a f**king imbecile if you believe that. Watson absolutely f**ked up. He has been in very ordinary form with the bat for us. In the ten innings he has put in under Clarke his average is 22.1. He has scored 1 50. He hasn't scored a 100 since the October of 2010.

According to this article

http://www.espncricinfo.com/west-indies-v-australia-2012/content/current/story/560576.html

He has been involved in 38 percent of all runs out that have taken place during the games he has played.

He drops sitters.

He is starting to become a massive liability.

The only difference if Ponting had taken off was Watson would have been the one heading back to the pavilion.

Id take a draw personally. I only watched the first session but I thought the pitch had a lot in it if you hit the right spot. Bishoo was turning it everywhere.

5/248. Draw probably favourite, but I cant see us winning. While I can see the windies collapsing I cant see us running a big score down on day 5 on this deck.

The windies are ahead in the game as it stands. Runs on the board and Australia half out and still 200 behind. A lead of 150 is still a big possibility, a lead of 100 a huge possibility.

That said bowling a side out twice on this pitch would seem unlikely unless it breaks up big time or one of the team's is hiding a very good spinner.

the pitch already started breaking up last night and it's tipped to be filled with demons by day 5. I think if Australia can amass a lead of 150, then they should have this game by an innings. 100 and they should still win, just not by an innings

So Hussey, Wade and the tail have to score quickly 350 on a deteriorating pitch and then bowl the Windies out? Should be a simple task.
