Clarke would be doing what all great leaders do..

Praising him in the media..

But giving him a severe bollocking in the dressing room..

Ponting should get a free swing at him too..

run out in test cricket is a crime of the highest order

Especially for a top order batsman when trying to build a total

It wouldn't be so much of a crime if it hadn't have happened time and time again. Shane Watson is an awful runner between wickets. How much more could Katich have averaged if he wasn't run out all the freaking time. And to make it worse it is usually the other guy that loses the wicket.

Cricinfo lied to me, it actually started at 9:30 (local) and Hussey is out for 48. Australia 249/6

Snatching defeat from the jaws of a draw the West Indies way. If the Windies go on to lose the match it will be bitterly disappointing, but not unexpected. They have a habit of competing and even leading on the first innings, only to capitulate in the second.

Bravo gone. Aus have got this one. While not the most talented team in world cricket they're easily the most relentless.

5-71 end of play, very unlucky not to be 6

To be fair, the Aussies, particularly Watson, benefited from a number of close LBW calls. Baugh is a brainless batsman, he'll play a reckless shot in the morning before the Aussies have a chance to dwell too much on the missed LBW.

Fell asleep around the time Wade got out. Part of me pretty happy with our tail followed by the performance with the ball. Part of me a bit disappointed the Windies couldnt finish things off with our batting lineup, They've been playing much more committed and tough cricket the last 9 months without too much reward results wise. Plus I want to see a strong Windies side again.

I fell asleep after Sidds got out & woke up to see Harris batting like Bradman..

Then fell asleep again and woke up to Hilfy bowling like Lillee..

Went to bed at 2:50 or whenever lunch was taken, regretting that today.

Lyon bats well for a so called number 11. The tail batting again has to bail out the top order crap then Hilfy backs it up with some great bowling. Fantastic to see him doing well again.
