There's absolutely nothing wrong with that side, bar the selection of Creagh and the lack of Watmough (who can't train due to injury).

Buhrer's an alright selection. Hinchcliffe isn't that much better.

I think the team is OK. The only major beef I have is with Creagh being selected and to a lesser extent Buhrer. Mannah, Sims and Watmough can think themselves very unlucky.

The starting 13 is good but the bench is poor IMO.

All those people saying Qld 30+ or 3-0 Qld f*ck off and support Qld. You androtops are gayer than aids.

Mannah is over rated

QLD will win picking thier second string side.

Don't like Hayne, Jennings or Creagh. Don't like the fact Tariq Sims or Watmough aren't there. Have no issue with Merrin being selected.

Any team without Gidley looks better, but still struggling to think we will get close.

Can't wait for Ricky to drop 2-3 of them after the first game.

I like the side bar Ben Creagh.

Merrin has been in good form and is a future 20 Origin capped player.

Buhrer i think is a huge improvement on Gidley and i think he has the speed and footwork to provide impact as utlity unlike so many against his selection.

Williams over Sims - i'll cop that.

I love the starting 13 - they got that spot on IMHO.

Great side in my opinion. Perfect team would have been Watmough in for Creagh. Possibly Mannah in for Tamou.

Against popular opinion, I like Buhrer in the side (would have also been happy with Hinchcliffe or even John Morris as a utility). He has played well at centre, hooker and backrow, and has also had stints on the wing and 5/8th before. His footwork is great and has sparked Manly plenty of times coming off the bench.
His offload to Matai on Friday night won Manly the game.

If there was another prop on the bench instead of Creagh I'd be happier with the team. I don't know what Rickys fascination is with attacking backrowers and stacking the team with them and only picking two specialist front rowers.

Meanwhile Queensland continually has at least 4 props in their squad.

Merrin probably got hard done by for whatever reason I don't know, the rest didn't get picked because they are horribly out of form
