It's funny how BHP and Doggiesbro pushed for Pearce and J Morris rep claims against a wave of critics last year and now they are both selected with all our blessings they are both nowhere to be seen.

Mannah was given little opportunity, it was like he was a selection forced on Stuart. If Stuart won't play him it's better he isn't selected.

Merrin is fine, atleast he's a prop. Creagh is a real head scratcher. The bloke only plays in a 10m corridor on the left hand fringe, he's certainly no prop, and has zero mongrel or intimidation factor

His form has been terrible this year, apart from the Roosters game. But you're dead wrong about how he plays.

I'm still not a fan of Pearce for NSW but we have no better options
Hope he has a good series..

Creah for Watmough. The side I would have picked?

Stewart
Uate
Jennings
Lyon (if he came out of retirement)
Wolfman
Carney
Pearce
Kite
Farah
King
Watmough
Gallen
Stewart

Buhrer
Rose
Tamou
T-Rex

You hooked a few fish with that one. Well done.

Pretty good side. Would have preferred
mannah over Merrin
Sims over creagh
Hinchcliffe over buhrer
Lawrence over Morris

Still a good side tho.

The thing that gets me is they have obviously picked a few players as they see them as "Origin players" ie. Hayne, Bird.

Then they turn around and pick that f*cking nuffie cat Creah!!!! How? Why?

Form? - NO

"Origin player"? - HELL NO!

In saying that I am ecstatic that overhyped wanker Ennis is not there.

Sims can count himself very unlucky not to have made it. Watmough would have been there if not injured to can't really blow up at that one.

Not a bad team. Just a couple of choices taht would have made it that much stronger.

Watmough didn't get selected because he told Ricky that he wouldn't be able to train much during the lead up. It was the right thing to do by not including him because building the team combination relies on everyone being present.

Now that we've all had a good whine can we now get behind the side

I haven't got a problem with the team TBH.

Buhrer is a surprise but I think he'll get the job done. Same with Merrin, he's been playing well this season.

The only one I don't like is Creagh. A bit over him, I don't think he offers much.

Don't get why we need 3 backrowers especially with Gallen under an injury cloud and Tamou making his debut.

Also plucking a player from the NSW cup is a big wtf.

As a Queenslander any team with Jennings, hayne, carney, uate & stewart in it worries me regardless of club form. As for Jennings being picked from reserve grade ... There was a bloke called Olsen Filipina picked numerous times for the kiwis who managed to match, and occasionally outplay a certain W. Lewis!

Creagh I am guessing has been picked as he can cover front and 2nd row but jeez ... We'd be more worried about learoyd lars or weyman.

Backs are good, forwards so-so, bench is shit.

Only 2 props picked. NSW need at least 1 more. Or maybe Creigh will be doing the hit ups in the middle?

lol

Look I couldn't honestly give a flying f**k who NSW picks, the team is not that bad but Creagh's selection defies belief IMO.

Ben creagh was selected for his blistering speed. He's competing in the olympic 100m this year and expected to get gold with hodges running behind him.

Seriously tho he's the one selection that makes me pull out my hair. How did he get in over sims!
