I was originally going to get Cat 2, but thought I might as well save $50 a ticket and sit 2 bays further down in 146-2

Ok got two cat 4 tickets in 119 -2.

Right behind the goal posts.

Anyone ever sit there before? whats it like?

Sat there for Origin a few straight years, great seats. Terrible depth perception though.

Cool good to know. Its going to be a bit of a change as my seats for the Warriors are right on half way.

Definitely did not want to repeat sitting in the 600 bay Cat 1 tickets - the cat tickets just seem far better value.

Tempted to fly over from NZ if Canterbury get there, but could be a pretty expensive weekend....Probably worth it in the long run though.

Flights are going to ramp up from now... Could also be tricky to buy tickets if canterbury make it considering members get first dibs.

Never been to ANZ before. Getting tix tomoz.

I am buying for a few so cat 4 is a must. What is my best choice? Are the high tiers really that bad?

One of the delightful features of the top tiers is the hike up the spiral ramp to get to your seat. Had Cat 1 seats in the high corners the past few years.

The high tiers drink ball bag. You may as well stay at home and watch it on TV tbh.

I really want to buy tickets ASAP. Does anyone possibly have a member number they won't be using to buy tickets?

What percentage of tickets are kept in reserve until the two grand final teams are found?

around 14,000 are held back for the 2 competing clubs & their members

although I have heard they are massaging the " ticket return " policy this year
you can now return them to the NRL for a full refund minus the booking fee on the Monday after the prelim finals if your team doesn't make it & you don't intend going

these then go into that pool of 14,000

I have never missed a Grand Final at Homebush
it is a great event ... & Im am looking forward to it again this year.

Have I missed something? I'm sure this has been the case for a couple of years now.

You didn't say that in your original post, hence the confusion.
