The question is, do I buy my tickets now... or should I wait till mid-september and pick up a pair nice and cheap around the redfern/homebush?
While approximately 14,000 tickets will be held back for Ticketed Club Members of the two competing NRL Grand Final teams, this first ticket release is the best opportunity to get the best possible seat for the 2012 NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final.
Ok got two cat 4 tickets in 119 -2.
Right behind the goal posts.
Anyone ever sit there before? whats it like?

Cool good to know. Its going to be a bit of a change as my seats for the Warriors are right on half way.Sat there for Origin a few straight years, great seats. Terrible depth perception though.
Flights are going to ramp up from now... Could also be tricky to buy tickets if canterbury make it considering members get first dibs.Tempted to fly over from NZ if Canterbury get there, but could be a pretty expensive weekend....Probably worth it in the long run though.
What percentage of tickets are kept in reserve until the two grand final teams are found?
Have I missed something? I'm sure this has been the case for a couple of years now.although I have heard they are massaging the " ticket return " policy this year
you can now return them to the NRL for a full refund minus the booking fee on the Monday after the prelim finals if your team doesn't make it & you don't intend going
