Bennett also said the club was in a great position when he arrived. Was he making shit up? Or is it possible management here had actually got us to a good position for Bennett to come in and do what he did. Surely there were reasons he approached us?
It should also be remembered that in order to appoint Bennett he had to heave ho a friend and club stalwart in Nathan Brown. Never easy.
Yeah, If he was anything like Greenberg he would have stuffed it altogether ;-)
Have you ever heard of a coach going to a new team and saying that they were in a bad position? If they were in a great position then why did he have to recruit Costigan, Weyman, Boyd etc.
