^LOL epic comprehension fail

again

If you're gonna attempt to be a smartarse at least make sure you've got your facts right before you try. You just make yourself look like a mong otherwise. LOL @ Saying Bird & Gallen at first, and then switching to just Gallen.

My point was these 2 perennial losers will never win a premiership, and lets face it probably wont ever win an Origin series. So they've got to savour whatever touches of a trophy they get.

The only failure here is your attempt at being smart unfortunately.

If your playing for Australia you should be probably be celebrating with your Australian Teammates and singing the Australian Song.

In saying that the Queensland boys were prob just catching up...its no secret the NSW and QLD players still hate each other before and after origin, it just goes to show how much a waste of time test football really is.

Yes because Test Football is just to serve Australia and not any of the other international teams. Not bad seeming Australia wasn't even one of the original international/test playing nations.

Aren't you supposed to be a NSW fan bobby? No need to be so pessimistic, the Blues will win a series before NZ wins anything again

lol yes Bobby, Bird seemed to have missed the last couple of Int'ls. However, Gal has been there plenty to hoist a trophy after beating the Kiwis yet again.

Your point was that neither has touched a trophy in a long time, which I proved to be bullshit in Gals case. You're the numpty who is now claiming it was all about Premierships and Origins.

If you're gonna call me out for getting it wrong then you need to slap yourself with a dunce hat too ya goose

Really? Representing your country is a waste of time?

Tell that to our Olympians, or players in other sports who are proud to wear the national colours.

Dont get butthurt.

If you were really passionate about serving your country you wouldnt celebrate with a queensland sing and dance. It wasnt queensland vs new zealand it was Australia VS New Zealand.

Well no, cos all I said was "LOL @ that pic of Bird & Gallen. They look so happy to be near a trophy."

You read what you wanted from my comment and lost.

LOL @ saying "Gal has been there plenty to hoist a trophy after beating the Kiwis yet again." (which also doesn't make sense)

When...

"I worked out today including Origin, All Stars and Test matches over the last few years I've played in more than 60 games and won nothing," Gallen said.
"So it's just a relief to get the result after a tough year with Cronulla and NSW, I'm just really happy to win something."

Quit while you're behind. Why do you always have to get the last say?

Gallen has won the ANZAC Test 2011, Newcastle Test 2011, 4 Nations 2011 and Anzac Test 2012. Thats 4 games in a row against NZ and at least 3 trophies. Id call that plenty

Wanna try again?

Really? Let's got through the history of International Rugby League:

1904: England first plays Other Nationalities

Other Nationalities, it is worth noting, were not a Test side (whatever that would've meant in 1904), they were people playing in the Northern Union. So, at this point there is no real international/test football. Let's continue.

1907: New Zealand first plays New South Wales

Again, not a test as such, but let's continue

1908: England first plays New Zealand
1908: England first plays Australia

True, England played New Zealand before they played Australia, but it was in the same year. In what other sense is Australia possibly not one of the original international/test playing nations? They are hardly Johnny-come-latelies.

LMAO WOW still clutching? You're still hearing what you want in regards to my first comment. Why aren't we still talking about Bird too btw?

There's a direct quote from Gallen above which disregards the importance of your lil one off game trophies which you're goin on about. "I've played in more than 60 games and won nothing."

I'll leave it at that.

Winning a trophy after a one off game is such a massive achievement lol.

p.s. - You couldn't make the semis with Bennett LOL.

The first line of the story you linked to gives this tiny bit of context:

FOR all Paul Gallen's individual success, being on a series-winning representative team is a first.

So no, this isn't dismissive of the one-off Test, it is talking specifically about a first series win.

What a geniused song  It probably took Alfie all 4 of his IQ points to come up with that one.

Lol @ New Zealand. Australian players hate the ones playing for the opposite state more than New Zealand. Total irrelevance from the sheep f**kers.

The funny thing about this whole thread is the hypocrisy from the Queenslanders, If the NSW players had started singing there team song (Not that they would know it) the courier mail would spewing up paranoid crap about there being a NSW biased in the NRL.
