Mate we have a tonne of edge forwards on the books for next year. None of them are stars but a couple are potentially quality NRL players. Bringing in another player at that position limits the amount of game time we can give these guys.

As for outside backs, we have loads of them too. Another one will once again limit the growth of a player who is already on the books.

The only position we truly need is a hooker, and that won't be solved until 2014.

Smith might move to the middle, instantly frees up a spot on the edge. Horo could get released, opens up another spot, still allowing ryan and paulo time in first grade.
