Wifi question

I just bought a Telstra mobile wifi thing and am wanting to use it for my pc, iPad and phone.

PC and iPad work fine, but my iPhone (which I have on a plan through optus) doesn't connect to it. Would this be because its Optus? My gfs iPhone works fine (she's through Telstra).

If thats not it, any ideas?

I'm not very tech savvy, obviously.

Internet with Telstra, my and my wifes phones through Optus and we both are hooked up to the Wifi

Make sure your phones wifi service is turned on

Make sure you are entering the right wifi password

Just worked it out. I had to manually enter the wifi name for some reason. But it's working. Thanks guys.

Never liked iPhones. Apple has too much control over content for my liking.
