Homicidal, Suicidal & Genocidal maniac Sabu!

A Gillberg/Ryback confrontation NEEDS to happen.

Imagine it, Ryback clears a ring of 8 people, he's getting the crowd behind him...feed me more...feed me more...

Then this hits...

Cut to a locker room backstage, a road agent knocks on the door and BAM it's good ol' Duane Gill.

YES!!!
Gillberg was the MAN!

Kurt Angle kicking Antonio Cesaro's ass for 'Merica would be a great pay-off for an otherwise generic storyline.

Cena is my pick going in although I wouldn't be surprised to see Ryback win it. I really hope they give him a good showing at the Rumble. It's the easiest match to make a monster look awesome (eg. Diesel '94, Kane '01) and I hope they put a lot of eggs in the Ryback basket.
I'd imagine Dolph's MitB briefcase would eliminate him straight away.

Cena winning would be a waste of an opportunity IMO. The Cena/Rock match at mania (if that’s what they do) writes itself. It’s not as if the Rock is playing the heel and won’t give Cena the match.

Ryback I guess make sense but who would he face at mania? Surely no ADR.

The best idea I have heard so far is the Shield idea..

Give Rock and Cena new opponents. This back to back stuff they are doing with mania these days sucks balls (HBK/Taker, HHH/Taker and now Cena/Rock). If they do Cena/Rock II don't do it for the belt... It does not need the belt.

I'd love to see CM Punk's title streak vs Undertaker's streak at mania.

Team Hell no/Rhodes Scholars and ADR/Big Show made offical on RAW.

Predictable but the right matches IMO. The card is shaping up well.

I wouldn't mind seeing Rhodes Scholars win. I think they have more longevity. Bryan is super over and needs to be feuding for a singles title.

I'd love to see Rhodes Scholars feud with the Usos.

The time does seem right for Rhodes Scholars TBH. I think the Bryan/Kane team has run its course and props to WWE for sticking with them for a while. I guess if they don’t win then a title change WM would a great result to Rhodes Scholars.

Cena is probably an unbackable favorite right now. I'm going for Daniel Bryan (surprise, surprise) or Dolph Ziggler.

My favorite scenario is Dolph wins the Rumble, challenges the WHC, wins it clean at 'Mania, defends it into Money in the Bank, and let's his contract expire. Massive bragging rights being the first to win MITB that didn't need it.

Daniel Bryan and Kane should lose at the Rumble, then Kane eliminates Bryan at Elimination Chamber, the two feud into Wrestlemania. (If DB doesn't win the Rumble)

now that's cool

Ziegler challenges, and defeats, the WWE Champion, he then cashes in at the conclusion of the WHC match and leaves 'Mania with both titles.

That would blow.

EDIT: Dolph is a good hand but he really needs to act and be booked better for him to ever be taken seriously as a World Champion. I know he already has a reign, but it shouldn't count given it was Jericho 2000 esque.

As fun as they are, I think appearances from legends or celebs makes little sense from a kayfabe perspective. I'd much rather the WWE bring in active wrestlers outside of the company than Road Dogg or Drew Carry for appearances.

The value of nostalgia in pro wrestling can't be underesimated. I agree it doesn't make kayfabe sense for people to enter when they have no chance of winning - but kaybabe 'history' has dictated that the majority of the participants are just there to make up numbers, so why not tickle people while doing that?

Of course, it'd be much better to see a few new talents/returning talents debut than guys who will disappear again post match.

I think having "legends" run in at rumble for a chance to win adds to the rumble from a kayfabe manner. It shows that the thought of winning the rumble for one last shot at mania glory on the biggest stage is still important even if they are no longer full time or wwe wrasssssslers.

They have just as much of a "chance" as guys like Heath Slater etc why not have some fun and show how much the main event at mania still means to these guys.

I'm sure headlining Wrestlemania meant a lot to Drew Carrey.

Cat's already out of the bag, but I'd much rather see an NXT guy, Indy guy or alumni in the match than a Mick Foley, Hornswaggle or Jimmy Snuka.

I'd prefer that too. If there's a non wrestler entering, I at least want it to be somebody remotely fit. Road Dogg looked good last year, for example.

But much prefer some NXT appearances or indy guys.
