He's a head kicker.

He's kicking heads. Bout f**king time.

You know who is a git - Matt Adamson. He was on TV last week blowing up about lack of leadership. I personally think the idiot just wanted to be on TV again. That guy could well be the biggest f**ktard out.

I've seen him on TV a few times about this issue, despite him being a good guy with my dealings with him, I wonder if he may be worried about something that's currently going on.

Still waiting for Bunniesman to have a cry over this.

How many times did he stated with absolute certainty that expansion would not happen in the foreseeable future?

A CEO who is positive about expansion. What's it been, ~20 years? Good stuff.

I still remember the 92-93 cricket season when Benaud announced during the broadcast that the new teams were gonna be admitted. If I remember correctly it was gonna be Perth Pumas and not Western Reds.

I would have preferred the 'Perth Poledancers' but hey, that's just me.............

Perth Pumas was the original name, but I'm not sure why it was changed to the Western Reds, no doubt PR will know but I think it had something to do with a similar name to Penrith Panthers and Puma clothing wasn't happy about the choice of name.

He's good at corporate psychobabble, that's very apparent but I haven't actually seen him take RL anywhere yet. Jury is out for me till I've seen him convert the words into positive outcomes.

And the name Western Reds is approximately 50,000 times better.

From what I have heard the ARL were not keen as they considered it too close to Penrith panthers. Not sure if that is true but it is the only reason I have heard.

And as said western reds with a kangaroo logo was far far better!

Pirates is such a shit name.

Apart from it being ultra marketable, having a genuine link to WA and a uniqueness In australian professional sport?

Compared to a chicken, rabbit or eel I think it doesn't rate too bad for a brand

Wouldn't eels and Rabbitohs be unique in sporting terms you bloody gimp?

How many other teams in pro sports world wide or Australia have an eel or a Rabbitoh as their emblem?

Dumbarse!
