None, that fat merkin George Rose has so many chins you can't miss them unless you tackle him around the legs

People whinging about Allgoods hit on prince but this was worse and people saying the game is getting too soft? f**king hell!

I agree nothing much in it but he will get 2 weeks

Yes it was worse but.........

Peter Wallace is a diving bitch who is better placed being in an Olympic swim team. Allgood withdrew his arm, turned his body and pulled all the sting out of the impact whilst catching Wallace across the chest lightly. Wallace went down as if someone had taken his head off. The referees were put in a bad position because on first glance it looked like the impact had force by the way Wallace reacted to being touched. Once the referees have made the decision they're not allowed to watch the TV screens to see if they were right or not, they have to go with their on-field decision. Sure the video ref could tell them that Wallace had been attending acting school, but that isn't his job. That's the job of the match review committee.

The referees should apologise to Allgood for being conned by Wallace.

JWH's hit tonight is on par with about 100 other tackles we see every week. The contact to the shoulder was solid and his arm slapped up a bit. If there wasn't this daft as f**k directive to wrap your arms with every shoulder charge he would never have made any contact at all with George Rose's head.

3 weeks. Swinging arm, Rose was not falling. Classic high shot, thought it would be a send off as soon as I saw it. Still like the way he plays though.

0-1 week. His arms were swinging as he was trying to wrap them around Rose and make big body contact.

Careless grade1 or 2.

Should be rubbed out for life for bringing the game into disrepute. My mum wont let me play anymore after seeing that!

Rose fell into, nothing much in it but they will give him 2 weeks to avoid the embarrassment of the seasons first send off being a dreadful decision.. Got to laugh at some of the geniuss calling for 3 weeks plus.. Usual suspects who have nfi

3, because loading. Copped him fair in the face, with a massive swing of his arm and body. He turned like 40 degrees, good luck getting any less than 3.

2 weeks, potentially 3 with loading.

Dwyer pulled off the exact same hit on JWH in 2010 and it was touted as the hit of the century by the tele. Something tells me merkinfield won't be writing puff pieces asking the opinions of Terry Lamb on this one though

Does the rule still stand that for every minute a player is sent off for, a point gets reduced from the charge?

With the red card I'd give him 1 week. With loading and the fact he smashes people often he'll end up with more.

He's one of those Matai type players who attracts excessive punishment because he's too much of a hard merkin for his own good. Think he'll get 2, maybe even 3.

Lot people are calling a swinging arm here but JWH has an open hand instead of a clenched fist which usually signals an attempt to wrap the player up, as opposed to a swinging arm I would've thought.

Does a swinging arm by definition mean that you aren't trying to wrap? I'd have said that it's both a swinging arm and an obvious attempt to wrap up Rose. But then I've never really got the swinging arm rule.
