Not sure what 'the way back' will entail. I'll hopefully be in Europe a few months and then be back in Oz until the New Year. Too many mates getting married for me to come back to China.
Last few times I flew there was no inflight entertainment. Thankfully I had my mp3 Player so I could at least listen to music
How come you weren't busy joining the mile high club???
Who are the worst people to fly with? Some might say babies or fat people, but my bet is on the Chinese. Never met a ruder, more selfish group of people when it comes to being on a plane. Hawking up phlegm, arguing, standing in the aisles chatting when they're being told to sit down, leaning right back, elbowing or hitting you with luggage as they try and pass, being oblivious to the people around them...
Yuck.

Most airlines have been acceptable. Delta, United, and China Southern have all been utter shit though.
Imagine my shock as I was accustomed to the orderly behavior in Japan. When we got to KL it took me about 2 or 3 hours but then I was elbowing, shoving and cutting people off with the best of them. I got stuck on a bus tour through California for a week with a mainly Chinese tour group. By the third day they stopped shoving to get past me and it was surprisingly quiet around the Wife and I on the bus. They seemed to have the impression that westerners couldn't do the push and shove.
We all learned something that week. I learned that bus tours and I were not compatible.
I also learned that a 7 hour bus trip from LA to San Fran with a mix tape of 7 different covers of 'Hotel California' and 8 covers of 'Are you going to San Francisco?' makes me stabby.
