Who does Arsenal play for in club football?

There is a distinct lack of Swiss and Greek teams there considering how dominant they are in the world of Konami football!

I'll give you 3 guesses....

There is a distinct lack of Swiss and Greek teams there considering how dominant they are in the world of Konami football!

tbh the success of the Greeks has been based on 4 players who all play overseas, hasn't really helped their clubs.

Likewise the Swiss golden generation was basically 11 genetic freaks, most of whom play overseas, so they haven't improved Swiss club football much overall.

and just before anyone takes this too seriously, all teams have only been edited by the very excellent patchmakers over at pesedit, to make these squads as close to the real deal as possible. That being said I'm hopeful of the odd upset here and there.

The latest transfers and kits (for those teams that have already announced them for season 2013/14) have been included.

btw I just did the math and there will be 108 matches in total for this tourney, and for that amount of games my monthly net upload/download cap won't last a week, therefore video highlights will not be shown until the round of 16 onwards.

Full scores/results and updated tables will be shown though of course. I'll be getting through a glut of matches tonight.

The first match played in Group 2 has seen Ajax play CSKA Moscow, and the Russians got the cash after Elm put them in front after 40 minutes. Ajax were quite disappointing and will need a big improvement to see off Spurs and Marseille in their final 2 group matches.

The second match in Group 2 has seen Tottenham touch up Marseille 2-0. The French side just couldn't get out of first gear, and with Spurs leading the shot count 16 to 1, the score could have and perhaps should have been much higher. Spurs went in front in the first half with a Gareth Bale direct free-kick from 20-odd yards, bouncing in off the underside of the cross bar, and then sealed the tie when Adebayor put away the dregs after a goalmouth scramble, midway through the second half.

Well I wanted upsets and it didn't take long. Schalke have claimed the first boilover of the tournament, drubbing Manchester United 3-0, thanks to a curling freekick by Fuchs, right on halftime, followed by a delicate tap-in from Huntelaar, and finally the cherry on top from Draxler in the 88th minute.

David Moyes will have his hands full trying to get the Devils out of this big pile of shit lol they were hammered
