Mate, I'm pretty sure these sites are based on cookies.

As long as you clear the cookies/history for the browser you use, or use a separate browser you'll be fine. Once you reach the limit of free articles, you clear it again.

Media watch reckons papers ad revenue is down 20% on last year. Pretty massive.

NRL.com also provide a lot of (unbiased) good-quality rugby league content too.

Seems to be amping up with the creation of their new media division - they have more NRL content on there than most other media companies as far as I can see.

I give it 5 years max before printed newspapers in Australia cease to exist.

Both Fairfax and News Ltd are now pushing for people to read their news on online. You only have to look at the Sunday Telegraph who have a competition going giving away 100s of tablets.
