 this part made me lol when you were discussing who to give the gun to

"There's no way a townie would give the Bunny a gun when he already has a kill power.

I'd be more inclined to give it to someone like 9701 or HowHigh who would almost certainly try and kill the Bunny with it regardless of alignment."

It was pretty obvious what had happened (I even said it to drew in the PM).
I did try to use it on Pugzley tho so I'm not sure why I didn't die.

That did make it easier.

Easier would be an understatement.

Let's see

Day 1: no lynch
Day 2: Smiley (investigator info)
Day 3: BM (because it's BM)
Day 4: no lynch
Day 5: DragonPunk (I can't even remember why)
Day 6: no lynch
Day 7: Pugzley (because he's mafia)
Day 8: no lynch

so 4/8 no lynch, 2/8 blatantly obvious choices/mafia, 2/8 town

Though I have to ask, was the game ended out of mercy/inactivity? 10 Town left and 5 Mafia, Town still have a lynch majority? Even including silence/force vote/captured, 7 Town and 5 Mafia, still a lynch majority. I take it this was a mercy ending (unless I missed something) seeing as it was just going to be another day phase without a lynch.

I think it was a mercy ending. Town were never going to get it together it seemed.

Once Cliffy died in that last right up that was it.

9-5. AFS unable to do anything brings it to 8-5, silence down to 7-5, force vote down to 6-6.

Oh right Drew still had Cliffhanger in the alive list in his summary, that makes sense then.

I'd be interested to know what vital clues Drew thought town missed in write-ups. I admittedly didn't pay the night write-ups much attention this game but I just read through them now with the knowledge of who's who... and I don't see what he's talking about.

The only thing I can see is that Krusty was mafia... and that didn't matter because nobody knew who Krusty was.

Clues are the hardest part to do as a host imo. You can hint at a character all you want, but if nobody knows who the player is it's largely irrelevant.

On the flip side you can't go identifying players and essentially outing them in write ups without due cause. It's a tough gig.

I really liked the adaption of the force vote/silencing power. I may well steal that in future.

The kidnap one is interesting. Perhaps too overpowered as it currently sits, but I can see it working in a way that won't completely spoil it for one player with a bit of tinkering.

A fun game all round. Two vigilantes for town were fun, although the only one of my kills that went through was on JM. Sorry, cobber.

Thanks Drew for running the game. I enjoyed it and was suprised that I went under the radar when I was more open. I agree that KTF deserves MVP.

If you sign up to play, f**king play please. Makes it impossible to tell who was who when half the players are absent.

Easy to say, but once you show you're a threat you get killed. That's what happened to me in the Ashes one anyway.

Outed Maher early, bam, dead next night.

That was a blitz, if KTF isn't night killed early, lynch him, clearly mafia.

Nice work fellow scum. My cover was actually true, Chinese Internet is dodgy as f**k sometimes. Although I thought Ozzy may have blown it when he defended me in the thread as I couldn't remember if I had posted I was os in here or only in the QT.

That was one of my foul ups. You were given the explosive gun. I mucked it up

This was my issue. I can't remember which ones exactly, but I thought a few were obvious. AFS going AWOL yet people then voting for him was... a bit amusing.

Mis voting for DB who was force voted, immediately after he was force voted was understandable but I thought people would pick it up quicker.

There were a few more. I'll have to go look back through.

The kidnap needs work, I agree. Not sure how to fix it but I'll have a think. I believe it could be a really worthwhile power.

No worries :D
