Well we had a go tonight i thought. But there really is a massive difference in class between the two teams.
I still shake my head thinking SK thought this roster he collected would go better than last year, some of his signings and re-signing really were mind boggling.
But the bloke who played tonight had a red hot go and considering only a handful at best are NRL standard i say good on them for tring.

Its not surprising that we have some horrible players, they were not playing NRL when SK signed them , some were basically reserves for reserve grade - Mullaney, Ryan, Paulo and Roberts were probably marked do not return for their respective clubs and we picked them up under the said genius in Storm style and then extended their contracts and hence, still here.

Unbelievable as it seems, it happened and we are asked to pay NRL price to watch tem, I get better entertainment watching the junior league every week. Didn't bother to use my season tickets this week, useless merkins

As silly as the rules may be.....we knew the rules when we decided who to sign and on what level, and who to play in the NRL in games earlier this year. The rules didn't change in the middle of the season.

Yeh Tonga is looking much lighter on his feet. Worth keeping on an incentive contract. I'd make sure the fire ant nest is located in the home territory of a maternally outraged grizzly bear.

For some reason we were playing him in the 2nd row, he is just about the best winger in the comp atm. There are a lot of people from around that time that really deserve to be loaded into a cannon and fired into the sun.

Taufua was cut by Matt Cameron who didn't rate him, the new coaches (SK) wanted to keep him but he was told by the NYC Coach (Cameron) that he wouldn't make it, Played for Wenty and David Penna picked him up as he has dome to so many players as he knpws our juniors better than some of the morons that were in charge.

Wolfman was wanted but he spent 2 out of 3 years injured and wasn't offered a decent deal, Penna snatched him up with a better offer, rest is history. Buhrer if I remember was told he wasn't big enough to make it ion the forwards, but he went when Penna signed about 4 Hills players for SG Ball at Manly
