@gusgould91 28s Bottom line. I think Michael Maguire should feel pretty comfortable with what he saw tonight. I think Craig Bellamy would be disappointed
The haters will hate but the scoreline was no indication of the contest. Sutton and GI slot into this team in the next couple of weeks and we will be good to go in September.

Melbourne still have work to do.They haven't been great on the road and chances are they'll need to win 3 games on the road in a month to win the premiership.

Both teams tonight would have been decimated by the roosters and manly.

Souths will be cannon fodder come finals time.
Melbourne still are a class below the roosters and manly.

Flattery will get you nowhere mate.

I'm not into putting quotes in my sig.

(Now isn't that proving how great my mind is - see what I did there).

IMO Gould is right about Bellamy; he won't be happy with some of that. Some very uncharacteristic Storm handling errors.

Agree for sure that our blokes were very scratchy as i mentioned in the game thread. That said i'd much rather win by 18 and being far below our best than get done by the same margin, especially in the lead up to the finals. While i can't speak for the other teams i think the Storm have got a heap of improvement in them and will be peaking nicely at the right time as they did last year.

Assuming that the Roosters beat the Knights this afternoon. That will mean a 5 point gap bewtween 2nd and 3rd spot.

I don't see any of the other teams making up the gap. Souths and the Roosters will finish 1st and 2nd and play in this years grand final.

LOL f**king Souffs fans. f**king geniuss.

Ok, i might have gone off just a little early with my comments.

Souths did not play well last night, but they are the team from the match who has the most improvement in them. And they will need to improve if they want serious inroads in the playoffs.

That's what she said, right?
