Steve Sharp is impressing me with his choice of words through all this. He refuses to concede our desperation. His message is consistently 'We are the Eels and merkins should be grateful to be associated with us.' I like it.

Coaches like Hasler and Bellamy won't fall for it but plenty of players and fans will. And whoever comes to coach us will probably be here for the right reasons.

I'm starting to think a rookie like Dunemann or Arthur might be the go. Both have NRL experience as caretakers, without the baggage of having been sacked.

Sharpie has done well throughout all this IMO, I have give him some stick on here but he is a proud Parra man who bleeds blue and gold and just wants what is best for the club.

Fitzy and Spags take note, you both had your chance it's time to move on. You are doing Sharp and the new board no favours, move aside and give them a chance.

Oh and f**k you Ricky, i just can't say that enough for some reason.

Dunemann just got sacked. He was contracted until the end of 2014.

None of the options are perfect. I'm becoming more confident that Sharp will pick the right candidate, even if not the best candidate.

For me the 'right' candidate is whoever the new recruits want to play for. Not that I'm suggesting we ask them who they want to coach, but if the players all stay i dont care who coaches us

For sure. The right candidate is also the one who will come to the club with no get out clauses.

Taylor is certainly a girl's first name. For the record, I like the Jason Taylor idea. I actually wanted Stuart to stay, but having had time to think about it, I'm glad his gone. I'm not sure that I like he's attitude. F**k he's eyes!
