Ideally you want players that contribute in both attack and defence. If you just want a guy who defends well but offers nothing in attack we have Ryan and Smith already on the books.

Santi looks like a poor man's Watmough; smallish, but with some power and footwork.

He definitely needs to up his involvement in attack, but he's good in the wrestle; on both sides of the ball. Plus he has a bit of line breaking ability.

They're awesome in the lower grades. I believe we'll be very strong in NSW Cup and NYC next year as well.

Certainly possible. Would be a very young back row (aged 20, 21, 22).

And I'm really looking forward to Norman too. He could be that 'organiser' (i.e. player what passes the ball from first receiver) that merkins think we need.

Also looking forward to seeing how different our go forward looks with Peats driving the bus.

If he was that type of signing we'd be paying close to a million bucks for him. Just like Hoppa.

Corey Norman is exciting because he's a bit of an unknown. He showed flashes of brilliance at fullback this year (as you say, out of position), but in 2012 he played a full season in the halves and was solid. Apart from Hayne that's something we've lacked in our halves since Tim Smith left the club.
