He leads the NRL in try assists. Plenty of those eome from passes.
He has the best kicking game in the NRL. SOO tries come from building pressure. Reynolds can get repeat sets- that is his strength. A skill that Pearce has proven time and time again that he just doesn't possess.
This cr
.ap about his passing game is just that. Reynolds passes hit the chest every time. Bullet like. He would also be one of the quickest halves in the game - certainly quicker than Pearce. Go look at the highlight reel for the U20's in 2010. He owned that comp with his blinding speed around the park.
have a close look at this highlight video - yes, there's plenty of kicks to set up tries, but look at how cleverly they are constructed. If you watch the entire clip you'll see some running passing tries of high quality.Have a loom at the try he scores from 70 metres out against the tigers -0 yeah, he's so slow

His defence for a half back is top shelf.
He is also the best goal kicker in the game. Flawless under pressure.
What Pearce is best at is bombing certain tries...and SOO series - year after year. Where's that gif someone posted earlier ? lol
If it wasn't for his old man's mates, Pearce would never be mentioned at SOO time. He is an average halfback who will make a better hooker one day.
