How long you in the US for?
Furthermore, why the hell are you in the US?
Another couple of years.
Mrs. SMBN is working here, so for now, here we are.

Newc is alright.
You know he does the same thing on about 3 different Souths forums each and every day right?
Signs in, copies and pastes all the days articles on Souths into new threads on three different forums (that I know of, could be more) every day of the year, several times a day. That's commitment for you.
I'd call that something else..
I'm still waiting for Rhino and Didgi to bite on my Cairns comment.....
It goes both way though. And we wonder why journalism as a profession is shit.
Articles pasted on forums like this = less people reading the article on the site it's hosted = less clicks to advertisers = less people buying papers = less money for the industry.
Not that I feel sorry for them by any means, but we have to lie in the bed we made...
Television news would sharely be secondary to internet news by now? Why wait for the nightly bulletin when I can jump on my laptop, head to a news site, skip what I'm not interested in and learn about what I am in a 1/4 of the time?
See, I've never heard of that website, and now I'll give it a look and may return there again. Forums can be a big advantage for news sites.
But so far I'm unimpressed...
I don't understand why it urks you so much?
I don't know for certain as I've never met him, but I'm pretty sure the guy may not necessarily be playing with a full deck.
He certainly isn't up to the bashings he cops around here.
You need to give him a break.
It seems a good site actually, the first article I clicked on was a Buzzfeedy Top Five that's finishing sentence began with 'LOL' though  Glad it was the exception.By the Global Mail?
It's ok. Nothing spectacular. But it makes the DT look like kids scribbling on crayon. Which is sad, really, because GB isn't quality; simply better than most around.
I loved the Economist until it sold out.
I think forums are things that need cultivating. I'm all for news sites having forums, but you need to have people employed to keep it alive IMO.
