Something which always intrigues me is how the likes of Churchill would have been portrayed had the axis powers won the war. Considering that the victors of war write the history, I always wonder how much of everything is covered up or embellished.

Obviously, you can't remove the facts and they generally come to the surface eventually but I'm sure that a lot of what we hold to be true has been doctored up over the years as well. Whenever I hear a war story, I wonder exactly how much of it is on the level.

I've never been unemployed but I imagine it would suck balls.

The worst that ever happened to me was when I was forced to take a months leave instead of working for a final month as I left one company to go to another job at a direct competitor.

Even though it was basically one months free, paid leave it was still shit because my Missus and all my mates had to work. Basically I spent a month at home by myself. After the first week, I was that bored, I ended up going up to Bunnings and picking up $3000 worth of floating timber floor boards. I spent the next week ripping up all the carpet in my house and laying flooring. The week after, I painted and the last week I had at home, I re-did the bathroom.

My wife is praying that I leave this job at some point and go to another competitor as she reckons its the only way she'll get me to do anything around the house.

Former customer douche bag that I'm friends with on Facebook because a mate thought it would be a good joke, has just had a massive rant about some of the most pathetic shit I've ever seen.

Apparently, he was less than complimentary about the sales person who sold him his new Mercedes in a satisfaction survey. The salesman has then called him and told him that he missed a bonus because of this and is refusing to help him from now on.

Douche is asking if he has done the wrong thing or not?

Funny part is that about 15 of his other friends have actually commented seriously on this shit. Who the f**k cares if your Mercedes dealer won't talk to you now? You've had the car for 6 months. It's not like you'll be buying another one anytime soon.

I'm tempted to comment but then he'll think I like him and want to talk to him.

Went to sleep yesterday at 7pm. Woke up at 12am, figured, f**k it, might as well get some more sleep. Slept straight through til now.
