Fafita goes to Souths, Sam Burgess gets bored of Union after the 1st year, Souths can't afford him as they have spent the cap space on Fafita, Sam Burgess ends up at Sharks ;-)

One thing on the fafita issue Frenx, is that no offer has been made by the Sharks, due to his managment change. so that being said, u hear the rumours of done deal with Souths.
How much must they have offered for him to not even consider staying?
The anwer is an amount that cant be legally beaten.

I think it should be mandatory for all NRL contracts. When a player is up for contract, the competitors contract is shown to the incumbent club & they are allowed to match it.
Most know that if the money is good, players would stay, rather than move.
So if a player accepts less, to move, it is automatic red flag & leads to a very thorough & ongoing, salary investigation.
If the contract is in the hands of the incumbent, then it can be compared to the registered copy as well.
Lots of ways in that system to stop rorting.

I thought I read the club hasn't made him an offer yet. Is that the case or not?

If nothing has been tabled due to his management issues & the club instead hasn't sent him an email or letter "expressing it's desire to renew his contract & commence negotiations upon him sorting his management issues", we are dumb.

I'm sure we have done something though.

Kinda on topic they repalyed that interveiw with him and david that Fox did last year during the pre season show on Weds. He and David both looked very happy chappers but I gotta say who the fugg would know what's going through their minds. They are definately free spirated. Heart vote here. He'll stay at the Sharkies with his Bro.

Including all of the articles & comments from Khoder Nasser saying that $420 k was not enough for SBW & how he wished he would renege on his deal to go back to league. That was his manager talking. His manger quoting the figures. His manager saying he wished he wouldnt go back to league because the money wasnt enough.
So are you saying that SBW made extra money from the Roosters somehow & his manager doesnt know about it? Are you saying that the $800k Fafita is now commanding will be worth SBW wage? So where the extra $400 coming from?

I'm reasonably confident the Khoder knows how to play the media game and is capable of making up such a story or at least having such a story leaked to provide the illusion that SBW is 'only' getting $420k.
