A mate of mine bought a house on a 5 acre block at Kenthurst a couple of years ago for a reasonable price.
I wouldn't really call it Sydney but it's not that far out in the sticks.

I paid the same price for a 2 acre block what my mate paid for a two bedroom unit in North Parramatta over ten years ago..... It's already increased considerably in value in two years. I wouldn't even get a one bedroom in Parramatta now for the same price.

Some major butthurt earlier in this thread. If someone's that sensitive about anonymous people's reactions to things they write on the internet, perhaps they shouldn't be writing?

#charlotteslaw

I don't mind critics, and the beauty of internet forums is I get to sling shit back. Plus brag about my accomplishments.

Looks like you're only seeing what you want to see (butthurt), just like HJ only saw what he wanted to see (shit writing). Jealousy's a curse bro.

just checked our draw, man it is tough at the start.

Chairman Sharp reckons if we win 3 from the first 6 we are set up for a top 6 finish.
He reckons we have 5 on the trot potentially further in the draw so 3 from 6 is a good start.

No doubt he is thinking Warriors, Panthers Broncos.

So 8 from 11. I don't know how many of the other 13 we would need to make top 6 but another 4 or 5 from the 13 should see us in the 8 for sure.

Same. I'm working on a fantasy series but this weekend I'm gonna start to develop a sci-fi idea I've recently come up with. The Pie-in-the-Sky hope would be a screenplay that actually went somewhere. It's a pretty f**king rad idea, if I do say so myself.

For people with brains, sure. Gary is right in relation to the vast majority of the population, however, especially in relation to gang signs.

I disagree. I think art is for everybody. And writing is, too. Comics, Westerns, Detective thrillers are all 'art' as far as I'm concerned. I hate pseudo-intellectual shit.

I've nearly finished a series of short stories featuring two police detectives in Parramatta in the 1960's. At 250 pages, I guess I've written a novel in twelve interconnected parts.

Is there a police dog involved? If not, you need one, or at least a naughty criminal dog. And if it's set in the 60s you can make at least one of the cops not so politically correct.

Well, so is verbal communication, if you think about it. Pygmalion?

Yeah of course. I said written communication is "another way for elites to distinguish themselves from the plebs".

I know I'm smarter than just about everyone I come into contact with, but because I was raised working class I have a hard time speaking professionally to middle class people. I can use all the big words, and have good knowledge of my profession, but I have to make a real effort not to sound like a bogan that's been told what to say. That's why I love written communication.

Fair enough. I have the same problem - and the same passion.

Im curious, how do you know "you're smarter than just about everyone you come into contact with"? Do you make them sit an exam? Do you trade off Mensa puzzles? Maybe get Stephen Hawking into adjudicate? Or do mean forum members because thats where most of your contact is made?

It's because most intelligent people want nothing to do with the merkin.
