If he left because he refused to play for any other club, then I can't see him returning to play for Penrith. If anything, I can see him being a media personality throughout the year.

He left because league was getting too hard for him and he didn't want to do the work to stay at his best. He probably thought Union was going to be a nice easy way out but I'd say he got rude shock. If he comes back and gets fit and stops being lazy, he should have some life left in him. He's only 28 after all.

Benji is a million times better than Wallace, but I wouldn't make the swap if we had to lose anyone else with Wallace.

Won't lie, wouldn't mind seeing him at Parra. Can't be worse than anyone else the Eels would have at #7.

No thanks. Seriously would rather Luke Kelly. Kelly is probably on 200k and under Arthur could realise his potential while Benji is an overpaid twat

I don't think Wallace has ever been a bad player, he just doesn't do the flashy things, he's solid. That suits some teams while it hinders others. He reminds me of Ben Hornby.

I'm hearing one of Kasiano or Graham to Souths at half the money Fifita is on. Lol well done Doggies

I do agree with the sentiment here as I think spending $400,000 odd on Graham for example is better value when discussing a prop at a rumoured $850,000! In my opinion, that is way too much of your cap spend on a prop. That money is saved for the Thurstons, Cronks, Cherry-Evans etc. That said, you mock the Doggies though you're quoted as typing:

I'm hearing Fifita to Souths is a done deal. Around 700k a year. It doesn't hurt our cap position because he just gets the money Sam was going to get.

If true I couldn't be happier. A like for like replacement plus a million bucks in our pocket.

You can't have it both ways pal. You missed Fifita, the Doggies won out and Souths will likely pick up one of their "strays". Win-win.

As I said before in another thread. Graham and Sam Burgess don't get on. I can't see his brothers not feeling a bit on their brothers side. Not to mention that Dogs and Graham are close to an agreement per Bulldogs twitter account.

Enjoy Kasino. Lovely player when he is on the field and not injured.

You talk as though the Burgess brothers are our recruitment managers...

I can guarantee you that it wouldn't even enter into the club thought process.

Graham would be a good fit for our style of football. That is all that matters.

If we pick him up, both he and the Burgess boys would be expected to be professional about it and just get on with the job.

As for his contract situation, the person who told me that he was almost a done deal with Souths is actually very heavily involved with the Dogs.

Make of that what you will.

Eh, the Graham v Sam thing strikes me as a bit of a power struggle for leadership in the UK team rather than anything personal.

Wayne Bennett's brother is not heavily involved at the Dogs

There's no way Graham is going to get less than 600k. He's a world class player

At 400k it would be a steal for the Rabbitohs and every club would be interested.

The Bulldogs will soon be announcing that James Graham & Josh Morris are both re-signing
( apparently for around $600,000 per year - each )
