3 in a Row - Time to re-sign Steve Price?

In 2013, it was 3 straight wins is what led to Price's contract extension.

Once bitten, twice shy.. what do you think the guidelines for his job termination or retention will be this year? If we won 3 more? What if we lost the next 6? Or has he done enough already to hold onto his job until late season where we know whether or not we will make finals? (which btw is in no way guaranteed).

Won't happen until the end of the year bro. His contract has a 1 year extension in the club's favour - means that there's no real speculation over our coaching situation next year, only accountability on Price to perform for his extension.

im really just taking the mickey, but its funny how a little run either way can change attitudes so quickly.

I wouldn't think so.
I am lead to believe that 'we are in the market and chasing the best fit for us in 2015 and beyond'.
I wonder how you would perform?

No no, not yet sarcasm and all. We need not make hasty and rash decisions, Price has done very well along with Mc Gregor so far and even though it looks like we have made a great improvement and have now become competitive again, I will reserve judgement on him until around round 20. Price so far has surprised and humbled, but there is still a lot of proving left to do. Well done thus far.

I don't know. It will depend of course on how we fare over the next few months but there's quite a few clubs out there who'll be looking for a new coach very soon.
You'd think Price would show some loyalty to the Dragons though in any negotiations, god knows he's been shown some by us.

This is the question..i.e. what is Doust doing right now? Is he still sorting out a new coach for 2015? Id say he has been and still is in discussions.. but I guess my semi-sarcastic question is what would it take for him to 'stop looking'? ;-)

I loathe the chinless man.. but im curious whether his fate is even in his hands?

One thing I liked about price last night was that he showed abit of anger on his face expression while he was on the sideline. I think it may have been when Williams either kicked the ball out on a full or dropped the ball while attacking the sharks line with 5 to go. I may be wrong. But Definatley showed he has "MONGREL" :) in him as a a coach. As for resigning him, lets see what happens in the next 6 weeks before we make a claim. Or better still how we finish the season.

Sorry to be that guy but we have technically won 4 in a row if you include our last game win over the Warriors in 2013. The first time Saints have ever won 4 in a row with Price as coach.

Exactly RedVdave

Price like any good talented young player is on the rise.

5 years from now we will be glad we have him and went through the pain we did. He is a person I'd want in the trench warfare next to me.

Tough as nails

We have an option in our favor. There is no need to rush for the super coaches signature because we already have it.
