    Not a Sharkies question but McManus scored a runaway try last night. He appeared to have one foot in the in goal when he took the kick. Shouldn't this have a 20m restart or was the try the correct decision? Thanks:?

    Much as I hate to say it, the ref was right. Had he just held on to the ball and bounced over fine but he did make that second movement.

    Under the rules of the game, a player is allowed to strip the ball in goal and it is not a penalty. If it was tripped in the field of play, a penalty, the worst aspect would be a penalty try but they are as rare as hens teeth. No another reffing stuff up. Will Archer get a rest?

    He copped a guilty plea so he has obviously accepted what he did was wrong. Theré's been no bad press because the whole thing was completed quickly. Keep him on but one more incident and he goes.

    RLW Predictions

    Like others, I was a keen RLW fan but haven't even looked at for years now. Their predictions are as good as mine on the horses. I did tip that the Sharkies will finish 6th and I haven't seen anything to change that yet.

    Not too bad. Pleased with de Gois coming, disappointed with both Snowden and Douglas but it's their loss. Centres seem to be a problem all around. Will Chambers would have been a good buy but he went back to the Storm. Did we chase him up at all?

    advantage rule???

    I remember the advantage rule used to be once a team had the ball past the initial infringement, advantage over. It now says ten metres and the refs are looking at it from a rugby union perspective, which is definitely not right.

    It was a great article for the Sharks. Listening to him yesterday he was saying allEasts have to do is spin the ball wide and they'll over run the Sharks. Didn't quote work out like that.

    Dragons want Mills

    I think he''ll stay. He had a great game yesterday but the Dragons already have Morris and Nightingale for the wings and Gasnier and Cooper for the centres plus no Bennett next season. With young Kelly signed I think <ills will follow suit.
