2016 Crowd Watch

Has anyone actually realised that this week's crowd average is going to be high which will impact our season average positively? 25.5k at Suncorp and 14.5k at Anz than Monday will have over 20k for Dragons v Dogs and 15k for Sharks and Cowboys. 75-80k combined for those 4 games means a crowd avg of around 20k which is decent. It will drop because of Sat and Sun games but will end up being around 16-17k which is high. Also at Hunter stadium who knows the Knights fans might turn up in numbers and get a decent 15k crowd.

its sad but tigers aren't really a big club anymore

not making the 8 since 2011 does that to you when you werent enormous to begin with

once ANZ upgrades are done and we move there for more games and make the 8 (hopefully) we should start averaging close to 20k

Tigers vs Souffs used to always get 25k..quite sad actually

Yeah they had a game from 2012 on fox today which had 25k and the commentators actually said it was disappointing.

Souths members got free entry tonight so not sure where they all were, crowd was certainly in Tigers favour. Could Souths maybe be fudging their member numbers?

The NSW Companion Animal Act (1998) should mean there's no excuse for Souths members not turning up.

From memory their bigger crowds were on Sunday arvo
Makes a big difference on a Friday.

If last night's game was played tomorrow it would have drawn 20,000

You would like to think Dragons vs Dogs could get well past 20k on a public holiday.

Pass for that game will be 25k imo.

I was there. There was quite literally no one in the Wests Tigers members area on the west side.

They have really dwindled out in the last 3-4 years. It's sad.

That doggies v dragons fame should be getting closer to 40k than 30k. Its an annual game now at a major stadium so the fans beed to step up. Last night was crap and yes a lot of the games we used to see 20-25k at anz between souths, tigers, doggies, parra and dragons are now struggling to break 15k. Really sorry state of affairs and the fans have to take part of the blame for apathy and laziness
