City are in the Championship and won't be threatening the EPL for a long time. They'll be in League 1 sooner than the EPL. Then watch their attendances go through the floor.

Depends who ends up buying them. Soccer is just a money game, if you've got deep enough pockets to throw at a club then you'll get in the EPL. Bit like NRL premierships really.

Yeh, we also compete with a soccer club that frequents the epl. For a city of less than 300k to have three top tier teams with crowd. Avg of 20k, 12k and 8k is pretty impressive.
City would dream of 20k averages these days. Barely got to 15 last season and this year they’ll be lucky to out draw the pride of Hull.

In terms of rugby league cities around the world, Hull must have one of the best per capita following of RL. When you put the average of Hull FC and Hull KR together it is very impressive.

In terms of London, I have some vague memory of them being successful at Fulham's home ground. Maybe they held a WCC there or something else once off but I remember seeing it packed out.
Hull FC rivalry with KR is like a smaller version of the other black and white v red and white rivalry.
