So Flanagan got 0 for his deliberate knee to the head of lodge
Lodge not even sighted for his ufc take down
While Tariq sitting on the sideline missing origin....
And McGuire who has 2 eye gouges against him this season plays origin
While 2 other players sit out 5 week early guilty plea and 10 weeks ...
What a joke

Yep guilty of assessing gradings based on players status, profile and what the media outrage or not
Cronulla already depleted.. face the Storm on Cam's big 400th (congrats to him) and FOX Sports prime Sat night game where Toddy and some of the commission will probably be in attendence. We need a good TV game.
Okay the last reason is a stretch but the 1st 3 are just about fact. Status and profile and media discussion... or not

So concussions and brain damage and accidental hits to the head not an issue this week...Crickets
Why did not Siebold highlight it more just like Green
(Tariq told me to say that...as I run into him at Woolies Figtree this arvo.)

This thread fed dinkum should be longer than the "Sack McGregor" thread

Just heard Kyle Flanagan has escaped suspension for kneeing Lodge in the head. So Tariq is rubbed out of the Origin because he made contact with Morgan’s head in a tackle that was found not to be late. Annesley stated in the Sims case that the NRL has a responsibility to protect players, especially to minimise knocks to the head. But today he states that Flanagan was judged not to have made contact with sufficient force. What is the definition of sufficient force given what we saw on display in the incident? So knees to the head are okay provided they are not too hard? It’s a joke. And this is not about having a go at the Sharks or talking up an anti Saints conspiracy, rather it is about a total lack of consistency in our game. It is who you are which determines penalties not standards or consistency. A disgrace. Oh well another email to the NRL needs to be written........pointless I know

Well as that southern bogan Gomer Pyle use to say “ Sarrrpriiiiiise Sarrrpriiiiiise Sarrrpriiiiiise ! It would appear that the NRL has made its point with the blatant acts of foul play with the suspensions of last week , so now it’s back to business as usual.

Q: How long does it take the match review committee to change a lightbulb?

A: Up to 10 weeks.

Only affter the NRL and commission seek advice from the stakeholders, lawyers and other external consultants after a trip overseas at a cost of $2 million to review how the NFL and NBL approach the issue, what grade of difficulty and plan on the best way it should be done..but only flying premium economy.
