By our count it's at least his 4th or 5th in the last 12 months, but it says "2nd offence" on the NRL's table, so that's what we're left to go with.

I only ask because, when the NRL announced the judiciary changes in 2022, this is what it said in relation to priors -

Every player will begin 2022 with a clean slate with player records reset on a rolling 12-month period since their last offence. Players serving suspensions from last season will be required to complete their existing suspensions.

Agree the fines are essentially meaningless to the players but I think that's the NRLs strategy. They want people to plead guilty so they can say the MRC has a high strike rate in its charges.

Yeah that's how I'm reading it.

They used to list similar and non similar previous offences now they just have the one stat.
