Good to see Godner lives rent free in your mind. This seems like a perfect time to recap his hall of fame career so far

2 x origin winning captain
2 x premiership winner (1 as captain)
1 x world cup winner
1 x MOTM in RLWC Final

We are truly lucky to share the same oxygen as him.
haha the funny part is that your club is paying him for all of that also.

Can you honestly tell me he didn't nearly sabotage that game last night?

Out of the NSW bunch, I felt that Maloney was quite ordinary and Cook took over 40 minutes to exert his explosive brilliance. The Turbo Twins did their job as did Klemmer in his reduced minutes. Cordner was unusually quiet in attack.

Frizzell somewhat fizzled while Teddy stood out. Fergo was solid but gutless in taking the initial hit up after a Qld kick. The rest did OK but Piss was quite good and should be happy in taking his first and only SoO series. He won't be there next year.

For Queensland, Tontine Papillow was their best forward by far with DCE having a quality kicking game, especially in the first half. Mbye and Chambers should be in the relegated to the never to play Origin again roster. Smugster tried to play in the halves from fullback and was found out. Lowe surprised with early enthusiasm but fell into a Mt Isa mining pit. Was McGuire on the field? Hunt? Who else played?
Liked for the reference to "Tontine Papillow" LOL.

He played solid, certainly played better than what the pundits on LU would have anyone believe.
I think it’s admirable that you are sticking up for Pearce. He has been so maligned that it’s almost bullying. But surely you can see where the criticism has come from.

Maloney had a shit game last night, and it wasn’t the first time. The key difference between Pearce and Maloney is that Pearce has also had plenty of shockers, but he has never had a game where he stood up like Maloney did in Perth.

And Pearce was poor again last night. His kicking game was ineffective, he needed to play tighter and more direct around the ruck, and he needed to play deeper and more direct on backline spreads. He had a backline at his disposal last night that was brimming with talent and needed early ball, and very rarely got it.

Happy for him to win a series, and happy for him to throw the long ball to get it to the edge for the winning try. That should get some monkeys off his back. But I think he is very lucky that the Hail Mary play worked, because it glossed over his poor game.

It’s like Pearce never left the Origin arena at all a masterful kicking game lol

He was lucky to get away with a win.

The bloody pass was his only option.
He had
A forward standing in the way
Teddy 5 metres back walking
Or an unmarked turbo.
I would’ve done the exact same thing.

He’s not allowed to mention them. That’s what the Coach P*sserer told him.

Never thought a bloke like Kevvie and an organisation like the QRL would move so far away from what has worked for them in the past.

They need to get back to having selectors pick the team instead of players having a say on who they would rather play with. Pfft.

The coach needs to be a bit more candid, honest and up front about the errors made by him the past couple of series too.

It's a great feeling to wake up in the morning knowing that 5 million Queenslanders and 1.4 billion Indians are crying.
You must be a virgin still if you think that. It’s only a game of football manipulated to keep the masses enthralled for as long as possible.
