Sure Pearce might've got more credit than was due but the way you carry on is way worse, speculator? It was a good ball and gutsy play and you and everyone on here was deathriding and blaming him for imaginary right through the game
Nah he was awesome, I’m just trolling. He single handedly ripped QLD apart. Earned himself at least the next 8 Origin series............

[QUOTE="King hit, post: 13680359, member: 47287” Thought the first half wasn't allowed to flow but when it did in the second half the game was immensely entertaining. [/QUOTE]
The refs are sooo bad... they have a square up mentality so when they penalise for one they look for a penalty against the other. So in the end they just gave shit loads of penalties in the first half. Penalties I’d argue advantage nsw as it doesn’t allow qld to do the dirty bashathon gang tackling.

NSW needed a faster game with a smaller forward pack and Cook/Teddy doing their thing.

Frizzell somewhat fizzled while Teddy stood out. Fergo was solid but gutless in taking the initial hit up after a Qld kick. The rest did OK but Piss was quite good and should be happy in taking his first and only SoO series. He won't be there next year.

Fergo passing to Teddy for the kick return when there was room was so obviously part of the game plan, Teddy's more dangerous through the middle with a bit of space on the kick return, and it allowed Fergo to take the first hit-up of the set, against a set Qld line, which he did most every time.

12 hit-ups for 96 metres only topped by Klemmer in that dept.with 12 for 106 metres, tells a story, and it aint the one you're telling here mate. Fergo was immense in starting our sets all game. To put it in perspective, he took more hit-ups and made hit-up meters than the rest of our back 5 combined.

Captains knock mate.

But he made over 100m from 85 hit ups.
100m from 85 hit ups means f**k all if you lose, that guy should be shouting team for the next month.

Edit,

And lol 85 hitups for 100m, thats so Cordner. 1m per run sounds about right

So, QLD's last 2 trys were both from missed tackles from Cordner.

Not even surprised.

Good to see Godner lives rent free in your mind. This seems like a perfect time to recap his hall of fame career so far

2 x origin winning captain
2 x premiership winner (1 as captain)
1 x world cup winner
1 x MOTM in RLWC Final

We are truly lucky to share the same oxygen as him.
