I think we're done. I had us finishing 7th a couple of weeks ago but we'll be lucky to avoid the bottom 4 now. We might win 1 or 2 more games or possibly 0. Whatever happens we're stuck with 'Super Coach Cleary' for a while.
7 of our 10 wins were consecutive.

First week of finals is looking like

Storm/Souths
Roosters/Raiders
Manly/Sharks or wests
eels/broncos

It's sucks that Souths will bend over and let Melbourne make another Grand Final..

So
1st - Storm
2nd - Roosters
3rd - Raiders assuming they beat Warriors. If they choke then Souths can finish 3rd if they beat Roosters.
4th - Souths or Manly. 32 points differential so will need to be a win by 3+ tries in either game for Manly to make 4th.
5th - Likely Manly. Possibly Souths if the scenario above plays out or Parra if they beat Manly by 12+.
6th - Parra or Manly if they lose to Parra by 12+
7th - Toss up between Broncos, Sharks and Tigers
8th - Same as 7th

I'd like:
Storm v Souths
Roosters v Raiders
Eels v Tigers
Manly v Broncos (at least one will be out by week 2 then)

What's the situation with Bankwest finals? Eels got 40k+ last time they played a home final and that was against the Cowboys.

Qualifying finals
Storm vs Rabbitohs
Roosters vs Raiders

Elimination finals
Sea Eagles vs Sharks/Tigers
Eels vs Broncos

Is the most likely scenario

I've got Parra beating Manly. I just think the psychological effect of how damaging that last loss was has really put them on tilt, and Parra are tough beats @ Bankwest to begin with.

So that'll mean Week 1:

Storm vs Rabbits @ AAMI
Parra vs. Wests @ Bankwest (Has the potential to be a cracker if the Wests fans turn up)
Manly vs Broncos @ Brookvale
Roosters vs Canberra @ SCG

I can see Canberra boiling over the Roosters in W1. They're a gritty, serious team this year. Melbourne are through to the Prelims and Souffs are gone in straight sets.

Percentages. Your for as a percent of your against.

So for example if it ended up Parra 23-12:
Manly F492 A437 %= 112.59

Parra F524 A469 %= 111.73

So Manly would be 5th

If this is a dumb question please forgive my poor maths.

Wouldn’t that mean that the team with the better defence would always have the better percentage?

Yep

But far as i can work out, it's most points for, then paper rock scissors.
