Dylbag's isn't, never seen a half that can defend like this kid, imagine what he can do when he grows up

That tackle he made on Frizzell showed great technique. He also chopped down D. Fifita in the 9s very close to the line, when he was subbed off for his "back injury", Fifita ran straight over the top of the player who replaced him.

How much are they proposing to offer him? Will he be in 1-25 or 26-30.

The Knights has a long time to evaluate him as a junior and more recently the Roosters - why will it be different at Parra?
The Roosters and Parra both signed him as a backup. The Roosters let him go because he got a chance to start elsewhere. If he wants to be in the top 17 again we'll probably let him go as well.

As others have already stated he is only a backup half, has both NRL and Super League experience and would be very cheap for what he can offer if called upon.

The hope is that you won't need to call upon him to often, if at all, but at least you have someone available that won't be overawed by the call up if asked.

For a game here and there he would be just fine to partner either of our first choice halves. Value for money me thinks.
No club ever wants to use their backups, unless it's a youngster they're developing. So if they're forced to use a backup and he plays like a backup is it their fault for signing him?

This is why the best teams each year are usually the ones who use the fewest number of players in first grade.

Eels confirm re-signing of Dylan Brown
The Parramatta Eels Club is pleased to announce Dylan Brown has agreed to terms on a three year contract. He will remain with the Eels until the end of the 2023 NRL season.

A talented half back, Dylan made his NRL debut in round 1 of the 2019 season after joining the Eels as a 16 year old from New Zealand.

Mark O’Neill, Parramatta Eels Club General Manager of Football said, “The signing of Dylan Brown aligns with our development club philosophy and we’re extremely proud of the person and player he has become today. We’re excited about the future ahead for our Members and fans."

Dylan progressed through the Parramatta Eels Elite Junior Pathways system, he played in Parramatta’s SG Ball squad. He later debuted for the Eels in the Under 20s team in 2017, before making his NRL debut in 2019.
