Paul McGregor's Biggest Impact on the Game

Mc Gregor's biggest impact on the game is to be solely responsible for the demise of the once great and mighty St. George Club. Every year he says that he has the coaching and playing roster that he wants and then the slide begins again. He says all the time after every demoralizing loss that he can not understand why the team has not converted its impressive training field form to the actual playing field. He rules out guys that can save his bacon like Brittain, Clune, Ford, Gale, Host, Ramsay, Sailor and Sauni-Esau and then you find out that the B Side has beaten the A Side in trial games. May the Board put him out of his misery and us out of our agony!

Mary's impact is to show the NRL how pathetic our board is and how easily you can influence them to believe anything. A freak of nature.

He should write a novel on the secret on how to influence a board to keep your job. I am sure guys like Des Hasler, Maguire etc who won comps or got their teams to finals are still scratching their heads how they got sacked and Mary got extended throughout the same period.

Him and Pricey can also do a book together in how to take a team that was the benchmark side in 2010/11 to the shithouse in quick succession. They are deadset the masters of that.

The tries from kicks, 80 minutes from a grand final and "we need to feel comfortable feeling uncomfortable" will always stay with me.

Never in the history of any professional sport has a coach been able to come up with so many excuses to cover up his incompetence.
