Was a typical T20 fare littered with terrible shots, some terrific catching, a couple of right changers and our mob connecting with enough to do the job.

Jacob Duffy good debut, but got a reality check in his last over. Hope that is the last we see of Blair Tickenr playing for the Black Caps, his bowling is not up to international standard. Also does Scott Kuggeleijn enjoy playing the game, dead cert never looked happy even when getting a wicket. Can't immagine enjoying playing alongisde him.

On the battting, surely Guptill must be closed to being dropped if he fails again in the next two match matches,has not got a decent score in for ever, especially considering Ross Taylor was dropped for 'lack of runs, inform players'. Disappointed that Seifert didn't finish the ending. Thought Mark Chapman had a good cameo, would like to see him given a decent run in the team, especially if Williamson opts out of the next two matches.

Tom Blundell is up there with Wade opening the batting. Yes he scored a century last Boxing Day but he is so far off being a test player let a lone an opening bat. What is the thought in NZ?

Perfect option in Conway is just there riding the pine. And in classic NZ form they'll prob chuck him in the deep end if we make the test final.

Opener is the only place he really fits. He'd be another makeshift until Taylor retires but I'd back him to do a better job than our other options.
